Great little room with a kitchen. Lots of things provided including a self serve breakfast with a loaf of fresh bread waiting in the kitchen as part of the overall price. Breakfast was cereal and juice and had a coffee pod machine. The room had a queen bed and also a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Owners were very friendly. The accomodation was part of Summerfield Winery where we had a pizza lunch and later a wine tasting.

Summerfield Winery hotel apartments

We visited Mark and the team at Summerfield in March. They were excellent hosts from the wine tasting, fabulous pizza (with marvellous Summerfield Wines) and rooms which were spacious, well stocked (including home baked bread-thanks Mark!) and very clean. An absolute joy and I would not suggest staying anywhere else if you are in the Moonambel area. 

PS the wines are a true great in the area and represent some of the best Australia has to offer. 

Excellent all around

My wife and I stayed at Summerfield last week for a night on the way home from a 3 day hiking trip I the Grampians. We booked the accommodation on a whim, not really knowing what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Firstly the accommodation is excellent comfortable and well appointed rooms with a great kitchenette. Each room has its own Weber BBQ  which we used for our dinner. (you can order BBQ packs from the winery but we chose to bring our own food). There is a continental breakfast supplied including freshly baked bread which was a real treat. Quiet location had a great night having a BBQ and drinking a bottle of their fantastic shiraz.
We also had our lunch at the winery on the afternoon we arrived as it was a day they were doing wood fired pizzas. Wow they have certainly worked out how to do a great pizza!! The pizza bases are excellent and have the right amount of toppings. Enjoyed some of their wines at the table too. Excellent service across the board.
We hope to come back next year again for a night or two.

Excellent place to unwind

We purchased a package that included 3 nights accommodation, cheese platter, breakfast, bottle of wine etc. The apartments were great and very comfortable. The wine at Summerfield Winery (located 50m away) is outstanding and the people running the wine tasting and the coffee machine were so very friendly and welcoming. The location of this accommodation is ideal for exploring the Pyrennes wine region and the many vineyards. Avoca is also close by and a nice town to explore. Be aware, Optus mobile phone coverage is not available at this site.

Great wine region and Summerfield Apartments are ideally located.

We stayed at Summerfield in a 2 bedroom apartment (studio was the only listing on Trip Adviser). The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

We rang ahead & asked for a meat & cheese (ploughman’s platter) to be in the room upon check in which was organised by the very helpful staff.

Was absolutely amazing after a long day to return to a delicious platter and a local wine!

Great Accommodation! 

We purchased a deal which included 2 nights accomodation, breakfast provisions, a meat platter, cheese platter and bottle of wine. We were pleasantly surprised at the fantastic quality of the food and wine provided. The room was lovely with doors opening to a small outdoor setting. Having a Weber Q for every room was great as well. Small touches like a coffee machine where very nice. Would definitely come back.

Great accomodation

We stayed with the Summerfields in their newly renovated house a short walk from the winery. The house is very well equipped and nothing has been overlooked. From throws on the beds to nespresso coffee machine (pods also provided!) The house has everything you need. Lovely fire in the living area which opens on to the kitchen. Secure off street parking for your car. Located near the local pub and general store which is very handy. Mark, family and staff are perfect hosts and the winery is fantastic!

A perfect experience

My wife purchased this package deal as part of a birthday present for me - and what a great choice it was!  We spent a relaxing 3 night stay in these delightful units in the beautiful Pyrenees Ranges.  We were made to feel very welcome when we checked in and we found the unit to be clean, comfortable and very well equipped.  We had everything we needed for a self catering stay.  The package included very generous provisions including full continental breakfast provisions, a cheese platter, a BBQ meat tray and salad pack, tea and coffee and a great bottle of red wine. We toured much of the area and came back to a warm, comfortable "home" with a great bed and  a good hot shower.  The winery is currently building a restaurant area, so the whole experience will be even better in the future!  We will definitely be returning.

Relaxing mid - week break.

Stayed for 2 nights.  Accommodation was warm and cosy with a very comfortable bed. The apartment was neat, tidy and spacious and was spotlessly clean. The stay was complimented by a very generous and delicious BBQ/Meat Pack and numerous varieties of breakfast cereals, bread and condiments.  Also included was a lovely cheese platter and a complimentary bottle of Summerfield's Red wine.  The staff were also very friendly and hospitable. Overall our weekend was very relaxing at this beautiful setting.  Would highly recommend! Liz S
