This place is a hidden gem! The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet! Easy check in and out. The location was beautiful situated next to the natural bush land and had ocean views. Perfect location to enjoy the nature, and is walking distance to local shops and bush walks. Would highly recommend The Bryn.

Beautiful country retreat

The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. There is also a spacious lounge room with a gas-fired heater that quickly heats the room. The lounge would be a comfy place to spend an evening or a wet day. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. Great attention has been given to crockery, glassware and other amenities. The building is in a great rural setting and has great character. It is only a 15 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) to the township and the pub for dinner.
I recommend arriving before dark as the driveway would be rather intimidating after dark, unless you have a SUV.

Like staying in a country house

I can’t recommend this accomodation enough , we were given instructions that were clear and welcomed in a timely and friendly manner . The room was beautifully furnished and impeccably cleaned . Thank you for reducing our stress .

Rainy weekend 

We were travelling from Sydney to Melbourne and arrived at Tilba late one afternoon. Sharon was amazing. She made us feel at home and our room was fantastic. The view to the ocean was amazing and the 'breakfast room' was fantastic. You won't go wrong at 'The Bryn'.

Stay here if you get a chance.

Superlatives are easy but seriously The Bryn was just faultless. Welcomed personally and by name as we drove in, a great start. The accommodation is like a top notch hotel. Quality. Clean. Fresh. Roomy. The most sumptuous bed. The room opens onto a veranda where you can sit and look across the rolling green countryside down to the coast with all sorts of birds serenading you. There is a shared sitting room between the handful of bedrooms with an open gas fire.Its like being at home. A great fresh (not plastic) breakfast  ( continental and cooked)  served at a huge country kitchen table where you can chat with the handful of other guests. And to cap it all there is the perfect  little village of Central Tilba half a mile away. This is truly a one of. Yes in the middle of nowhere but worth every minute of the drive between Melbourne and Sydney.

I have no idea how I chose The Bryn but I am glad I did!

We stayed here for one night everything was spot on, clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, quiet. The communal lounge was perfect.
 Everything as it should be. The owners were friendly and welcoming.
Unreservedly recommended.

First Class

We stayed in the private self-contained, self-catering cottage for two nights, which is not attached to the B&B. It was quiet, well-equipped, spotlessly clean and with a beautiful view, as seen on the website. The friendly hosts are in a separate house on the large property.

Quiet and peaceful

This rating concerns The Cottage and not the main house. The cottage is rented mainly to families with children. It is located a little above, also offers a great view, a well-groomed garden and a gas grill. The house itself has in principle a living room including an open kitchen and two bedrooms which have no door but a curtain. When we arrived the cleanliness was okay. The landlords are nice. Contrary to the offer in the main house, no breakfast is offered in the cottage. This can be prepared in the well-groomed kitchen itself.

That's good.

My wife and I were travelling from Canberra to Melbourne via the south coast and called on the off chance that there was a vacancy. We were lucky enough to get the main double room. Great views over farmland, forest and ocean from the deck, well laid out bedroom and bathroom, great cooked breakfast and friendly hosts. 

A great find at very short notice

A very enjoyable stay.  Very comfortable and spacious room, furnished to a high standard, with great views.  Owner very welcoming and friendly. Tilba Tilba is a very interesting and pleasant little town.  Would thoroughly recommend.
