This is the worse motel I have ever stayed in. More rules and signs than I have ever seen.  Rude management and the room was so strong with smell of bleach cleaning chemicals I couldn’t stop coughing. There were silverfish in the shower and bathroom.  It is outdated and shabby.  For the price it is definitely not worth it even for the location.  Please pay extra for somewhere else.  I have stayed in a lot of places and I have never felt so uncomfortable in one.  Feels like there is cameras everywhere and someone always watching you. 

One night here is too long. Pay the extra and go to the Rydges 

Great motel to stay at when we had an early morning flight from Gold Coast Airport. The motel is directly across the road. Our unit was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Checking in and out after hours was super easy too.

Great motel close to Gold Coast Airport

We always stay at this motel when visiting the Gold Coast and always have a great stay. Our last visit was 2 weeks ago on a Sunday night and we were woken up by this loud couple and their friend dropping them off, and a child that was screaming like blue murder. These people didn’t careless that they were waking everyone up. Not just the child but the people were banging car doors, banging bags on the stairs, shouting abuse at the owner, who was trying to talk rationally to them. We were so glad when the owner kicked them out, good riddance.
We stay here because it is convenient to the airport, clean, comfortable and great prices, but also, because, they will not allow any sort of anti-social behaviour and sort those people out quickly. The owner came and spoke to us after these inconsiderate people had gone, to make sure we were ok. We told him, we were glad they were gone and went back to bed to return to the sleep that was rudely interrupted.

DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN.
We arrived here at 8.30pm after a full on weekend of work and with an early flight the next morning. My toddler had fallen asleep in the car and was distressed at being taken out. She was having a toddler tantrum so my partner endeavoured to get her upstairs to the room as quickly as possible whilst a friend brought up our bags.
According to the owner who immediately came out and started abusing us, the noise of a toddler and a heavy bag being brought upstairs was considered deliberately disruptive. (not that it was only 8.30pm and no one had even popped a head out of a door at the noise.
He then proceeded to yell at me including accusing me of trying to deliberately deceive him by bringing a toddler who was not on the booking (she was, and if we were trying to hide it, I can't imagine we would have brought her in yelling).
As the conversation escalated, my toddler became more upset and in desperation I asked what exactly he wanted us to do. At which point he said we had to leave and didn't care where we went. We pointed out that this would make more noise as we took the, now extremely distressed, toddler out again, and dragged our heavy bag down the steps. He demanded we do so. I told him I required a refund. He said it would be processed immediately.
He has since sent an abusive email refusing to refund me.
We left, crying and upset (me as well as the toddler now). Our distress made for a noisy departure.

Worth noting that, judging by other bad reviews here, he will comment on this telling you how appalling our behaviour was. So of course it's up to you to decide. However, if you have, or have ever had, young children, you will know how difficult it can be to calm them when overwhelmed, tired and upset. If your child might at any point get upset and make a noise. DO NOT STAY HERE.

DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY. We were so distressed it took hours to calm down and I am still shaking as I write this. I have NEVER been treated so badly. We are yet to received the refund.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS

We wanted a short stay close to the Airport for early flight home. Having looked at photos and reviews we booked. We got a very small room with a tiny bathroom and small hard bed. Needed lights on in daytime.
Natural exposed brown brick walls inside did not help. 
A walk to Airport confirmed that the walking distance to the Terminal is about 500 metres.. a long way in the rain at 4 am!
We decided not to spoil our holiday and moved to the Rydges which cost only $40 more... wasted the money we spent at Airport Inn.
Gold Coast Airport Motels are an Overpriced disappointment for travellers.

Overall, I was quite pleased with all aspects of the service, including the personnel and the amenities.
Very close proximity to the airport and a comfortable, serene, and quiet stay.
If you're looking for a quality spot to stay close to the beach and airport, this is an excellent option.

Awesome experience, great service and amenities

Cal was friendly and welcoming and I could not argue more with 584siria about the cleanliness.  The unit we stayed in was spotless and for an older establishment extremely-well furnished.  One negative was the lack of noise-deadening from upstairs units.

A good option for airport access

We stayed here overnight for an early morning flight from the airport, and would definitely recommend the motel for travellers in a similar position. The man who greeted us was super friendly and helpful, explaining everything we needed to know and even giving us some recommendations for what to do on our trip to New Zealand! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely motel in great location

I have never come across a motel so filthy. This motel knows how to dissatisfy customers and harass them for a bad review. I am suprised so many have rated them well - I gave them one bad review and they reacted by charging us additionally and stating that we left the room unclean when in fact my review was about how filthy their room was to begin with. Beyond disappointed - do not stay here!!!

Terrible motel , harasses guests and unclean

Extremely comfortable and welcoming Motel.  We would highly recommend this establishment to everyone.   This Motel is situated quite close to the airport which was an added bonus. Cost was reasonable.  There were no problems whatsoever.   Thanks to all concerned
