The park is situated on the entry to Boulder coming from Kambalda. The staff go above and beyond to help and accommodate you. They are full of information about most things to see and do around town. 
Amenities are clean and tidy (a little outdated but still clean.
Most van sites are on bitumen with lawn nearby and the roadways are not well maintained with potholes in some areas. 
There is the slight problem of constant background noise from the nearby Super pit. A bit on the expensive side for the touring couples.

The experience dealing with the friendly and helpful staff make the visit worth it.

Recent stay here was very ordinary.
Despite booking 6 months ahead they put us on a site we could not fit on. After much debate they put us on a bus site with a broken slab & partially collapsed drainage well.
Roads in park are badly potholed ( probably from all the large mining  vehicles), did not drain when it rained, & were muddy in places. 
Ablutions were good but a long walk to get to. No barbies around park. Only in camp kitchen.
They have put in a lot of mobile dongas obviously chasing the $ & reduced van sites accordingly.
Quite noisy early in mornings as work vehicles moving around.
Emails every few hours telling u to lock everything. Not a good vibe.
Not a pleasant stay at all.

Park is in poor condition & focused on mining services

We stayed 4 nights here in a good, flat and spacious site for our van, backing on to a grassed area. The park is very well run, facilities very clean and modern and plenty of washing machines and dryers. The staff went out their way to fit us in for the 4 nights. Would highly recommend

Over past two months I’ve stayed here , 3 times in different sites, staff are always friendly, helpful and polite . Amenities are spotless , whole park is clean well kept. 
Love coming here to stay. Will be back again .
Permanent residence are friendly and helpful with local knowledge.

Work stay

I’m sure it’s a lovely park.. but on entry into the park office, the staff were too busy arguing about something to even say ‘hello, I will be with you in a moment’. There were no vacancies but that’s ok we were happy to try another park in Kalgoorlie.. not that they even tried to suggest another park or offer any assistance. Extremely poor service and wasn’t a very warm welcome or great face for the company. 

Unhelpful staff

The Manager and front Staff were simply excellent in helping us with booked out accommodation. Nothing too hard for them, quick and friendly. Best manager I have met to date in a clean, tidy and organised Park! Good on you guys.

Out of the way, but we were after quite. Had ensuite and did not connect into power, so average to good price. Lots of contractors onsight, unfortunately at that time could not use crib room for meals $20, but I think about to change.

Helpful Staff

We spent 4 nights here. The staff are great and very helpful. Interesting mix of people - travellers and mine workers. Makes for interesting conversations. They have a dining room which offers a two course meal for $20. I encourage people to join the G’Day community and get 10% discount and we got an upgrade with en suite for same price. As a G’Day member you get 4cents off fuel at Coles Express fuel station. Really worthwhile.

Friendly and convenient 

What amazing service here from the lovely Caroline. We pulled in and noticed they had a no vacancy sign out the front but I thought I had nothing to lose by going inside to check. They were full and Caroline said she would try the other Discovery park around the corner they couldn’t help either so they suggested we were given an ensuite site for the same cost as a powered site. I was just gob smacked both by their generosity and their efforts to help us out. Thank you to Caroline and Lisa what excellent service.

Fantastic service

This was a really well appointed park.  Superior to the other couple we looked at in the area.  Great staff and superior facilities.  Great camp kitchen, and Laundry with a fair bit of grass and clothes lines.  Worth booking if you are passing through.
