Great sleep after a long drive from Gold Coast.
Rail line is a bit close and could be noisy.

One night stand

Advertised as 24hr however no longer a doorbell at door, phe does not offer a message bank and after staying 1 night, i wanted to extend but no one on site (office door locked) at 9am and 10am and at 12 i ended up having to book through booking.com to be assured i could stay. Bed had an electric blanket that was too small so hard controllers were on top of bed under fitted sheet.  On the corner of a highway and a busy cross street, so lots of traffic noise. Look up Ben Hall Motel for a better room and location for less money.

Better options in town

The worst motel in many years of travelling and working in the industry.. Walking into the room through a spider web should have been warning enough. Then discovered thick webs draping from the bedspreads up to the walls. Upon pulling back the bedding large nasty black spiders came running out. Seriously like something out of a horror movie and an experience that will take many years of therapy to get over. 
Demanded a refund and couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Do not stay here! We checked in at 2pm and left by 3:30pm without even asking for a refund. 

The room was dirty, not cleaned properly and poorly maintained. Even the reception area is disgustingly maintained

Service wasn’t great either. 


Disgusting! Dirty!!

Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT STAY HERE!! Most dirty motel I’ve ever stayed in. We travelled from QLD to visit family with three adults and two kids. Stayed in two rooms and even left with one night paid for with no refund because of how disgusting and dirty.  Covered in dust and dirt, old shopping trolleys, dirty dishes piled up and towels. No laundry- changed to a dumbing area. Pool- kids swam but we told them not to get water in their mouth full of green slime. Room walls covered in mould and body dirty marks. Massive cockroaches!! From the moment we entered reception- covered in dirt and cobwebs, with old candles on the steps. This place is a heath hazard and should be closed for service. We are only a humble family and stay at average places within our price range but they are ALWAYS CLEAN AND TIDY EVEN IF OLD.

Disgusting, dirty and not worth a cheap night

First time here, I think $100 is a little steep, room 11 was ok but plumbing pipes squealed from another room and was very annoying . Wi Fi ok. Bed and pillows good, shower was clean and ties clean. Air con also working well, check in was good too.

Not bad

No room service at all during our 4 night stay which meant beds weren't cleaned, no clean towels, no extra toilet paper etc. Had to ask for clean towels every day and toilet paper (3 adults in room). Manager became annoyed when I kept asking for them!! Another family member in another room asked for towels and he was told there were none available as they were all dirty. I have stayed in a lot of motels in my time and this one is the worst! I'd rather have camped in the park. Pool was green and unfit to swim in.

This Motel needs a complete revamp. The only positive I can say is that the sheets in our room seemed to be clean. We booked two rooms checked in quite late at night after a huge drive, the sheets in the other room we weren't sure if clean or not occupant slept in her clothes in case, towels were NOT clean so used a t-shirt to dry with after shower in the morning, then only to discover she was covered in flea bites. Carpets are way way past cleaning just need repacing . Thick layer of dust over everything in room air condition falling apart and curtains falling down. Absolutely disgraceful and the place should be shut down and revamped and managed by people who have some pride in what they do. I have rated 1 but only because you can't rate iot zero.

DISGUSTING

Clean (ish)...friendly (ish) & at least the rooms had good hot water.
I stayed here as a last choice & for what it is it’s overpriced.
Handy to town, however noisy with the Newell Highway at the door & at least one freight train across the road the night I was there 😒

Needs some TLC

I don't like to give bad reviews BUT this place needs to know how bad it is. I have stayed in some amazing "pet friendly" places throughout our travels and this motel wasn't one of them. It was not clean, odour was fowl, the bathroom mirror etc were sticky, the fridge was rusty and old, there was a toaster but no plates or knives, the noise from the trucks and rail continued through the night and smokers smoked right outside our room which travelled through the vintage air-con into the room. The owners were friendly but I wouldn't come back here again.
