I shared a three bedroom chalet set amongst the trees. I found the double bed really comfy with soft pillows. Good air conditioning and a lovely log fire all set ready to be lit.  An enjoyable stay for us all

Cosy chalets

We have been to Karri Valley a number of times but this is the first time we have stayed at the Karri Valley chalets. 

This was a lovely place with friendly owners and four cute little Chalets. Each has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, toilet, pretty expensive kitchen and a living area - complete with wood fire! 

It was wonderful to get warm by the fire and be so close to the Karri Forest. 

It’s right next to the Karri Valley resort (2 mins) so you can easily head over there to enjoy the lake, waterfalls, Bush-walls and canoeing.

The Amenities were great.........We did have a problem when it came to having run out items replaced, such as toilet paper.  I asked a few times and it was never forthcoming.  I had to find some myself.  The bins were not regularly emptied and we had to store rubbish in bags outside.
We left in a hurry on the final day and inadvertently left some clothes in the dryer.
The staff were nice enough to let us know.  They advised us that if we paid for postage they would send them to us.  I thought this was great and was very thankful.  I gave them my credit card details and waited for the clothes to arrive in the mail.
As christmas was impending I wasn't fazed  by the delay.  I thought it's Christmas it is expected.
It was after xmas and the clothes  still had not arrived in the mail.  My partner contacted them by phone and they advised us that the clothes' were still at the resort.  Payment had not gone through.  Why would they not let us know??
We once again gave them the card details over the phone and was advised that payment went through this time..  We were also told that postage charges were more.
We did eventually receive the clothes and when I opened the plastic bag,  was shocked to see that they were all covered in mould.  All the clothes were ruined.  Not one piece was salvageable.  I even tried soaking them for days to try and remove stains.I  could not remove any mould everything was covered by the black spots.

When the staff removed the clothes from the dryer they must of been still damp. They stored them  in a plastic shopping bag and the bag with the clothes sat for weeks at the resort growing the mould.
I contacted the manager and was told that it's our problem and the resort has nothing to do with our concerns.
I had to email a couple of times to even get a response.
The customer service is non existant. I have sent them another email and I am still waiting.  It is now May.........

Had a great time with the Family

We recently had a last minute idea to get away for the weekend and it was the best decision we have made in a long time. We packed up the car and the 4 teenagers in tow and headed too Pembertons STUNNING Karri Valley Resort. We were absolutely blown away. The accomodation was devine! We stayed in a forest chalet! The ammentities of the whole resort were fantastic! Can not fault this place! Will definitely be returning. 

The Absolute Best Getaway!

Just got back from our Annual trip to Karri Valley Chalets '15-22/11/20

7 days of it and It was just Awful .
Every time we asked for information , they had it .Every time we asked them for help they gave it , every time we needed something they supplied it !! How organized , annoying isn't it ?
The red hand on that clock above the door drove me mad and the compressor on the fridge kicking in every now and then disturbed me often and interrupted the parrots squawking , the rabbits jumping and the kangaroos and emus scratching and running around outside .
Don't even mention the day trips , Peter on the Donnelly river cruises knew everything about that rivers flora and fauna and the scenery was spectacular .
As for Graeme on ECO tours sand 4wd adventure down through the National park to Southern Ocean .The blue the gold and the green I don't think I have seen as  good anywhere in the country .

If there indeed is a God then he must have lived here First class experience all round , paradise on earth .

Well done Pemberton and the restaurants are very good , Jaspers was a new one we tried and well impressed only just open  .

it was awful Really!!

We booked chalet #3 and couldn't fault a thing from our initial booking to the end of our visit. The chalets are located behind Karri Valley Resort and are near Beedelup Falls. There are 4 chalets that are equal sized however the rates are based on the number of guests, Debbie said that #3 has a remodelled kitchen. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water for a bath. The owners are building a Cafe on site and we're looking forward to returning when its finished.

Absolute relaxation

First class hidden gem , just behind RAC resort , there are  4 x chalets , very well equipped in the middle of nature .No noise only wild life .Clean air , clean beds ,beautifull views.Local to all the amenities if you require such things !!
Alternatively you can soak up the serenity and just chill .
canoeing on the lakes , trout fishing on Beedelup lake , mountain biking or trekking all available for the more energetic .
Hosts Roger and Debbie are very accomodating and nothing is a problem .

I can't recommend this place highly enough , everyone needs to unwind from time to time and this place is Real medicine for all the family , young and old.

Had a week here and it was first class , found some great restaurants in town 
plenty to do and see , or do nothing at all and soak it up.

complete relaxation and disconnection from the  everyday norm

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here just recently. We arrived on the Friday night and was given a warm welcome. The service throughout our stay until Monday morning has been absolutely perfect. 

The views, the scenery, the peace, the ambiance is exactly on point.

Absolutely fantastic 

We felt fortunate to get a 3 bedroom chalet booking here for the of stay for the Pemby Trail Fest, we left booking a little close to the event, so while it wouldn’t have been our first choice as it was quite a way from town we quite enjoyed staying here with our friends. 

The chalet was very adequate and comfortable. We loved having the fire. The kitchen was great, well supplied. The bbq (communal) was great also, nice and big and clean. 

The coffee supplied was moccona and was lovely. The shower nice and hot. The decor was cozy. 

The only downfall I think worth mentioning for others to be aware of is that the bed was hard and quite uncomfortable, both nights I didn’t sleep well as the pressure felt when rolling over or moving woke me up many times. Like another reviewer mentioned (which I agree with) it did feel like the springs were on the way out (even if they weren’t) as there was no cushioning. Perhaps the owners could put a foam overlay on top of the mattress to provide a little more comfort. 

Did appreciate the electric blankets though. They were a treat. 

Peaceful

We stayed at the Karri Valley Chalets for the long weekend and we were so impressed. The chalet was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The fire was so lovely and cosy. Debbie was very friendly and was a fantastic host. Couldn’t rate our stay more highly.
