We booked the Lounge Room (2 bdrm, lounge, kitchen and dining area) for one night. Very comfortable for a family of 3 including including one teenager. Great to have lunge chairs to sit on, great bathroom and shower, and great location central to the town. 

I loved when we arrived the smell of sweet perfumed roses, and eating a couple of strawberries from the bushes growing.

Room suitable for people with mobility issues and possibly for people in a wheelchair. Access available from side street to avoid steep ramp from driveway to rooms; and grab rails in bathroom. 

Cosy hotel, fabulous location 

Just off the Main Street and close to several restaurants but with your own cooking facilities. This will make a great spot to branch out into the region when we come back in the new year.  Hosts were lovely.  Place was spotless clean and super comfy beds. 

What a little gem 

We booked to stay 3 nights over the 2020 new year for a friends wedding. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. Spacious and comfortable apartment in a great location. The kitchen within our apartment proved very useful as did the generous sized fridge. The spa was fantastic!

Great holiday apartment

We stayed in the lounge which is 2 bedroom...plenty of timber and charm, nice comfy bed, plenty of room, wifi works a treat..We were greeted by Mary who is very genuine and charming and lots of local knowledge..used to go there for pictures as a child and now can revisit this re-purposed building..the room has a couple of the original picture theatre seats and a bit of stained glass in the door..close proximity to the pub, the wine and tapas bar in main street along with fish and chips and takeaway next door..lovely way to stay in this beautiful little town...

Charming place with character

We were recommended The Old Picture Theatre by the ladies in the Pemberton Visitor Center as my wife and I were looking for a quiet and private place to stay in town for 3-4 days. This lovely little converted theatre absolutely hit the brief. We stayed in the stage room, it's spacious clean and had everything we needed - including a spa!

If you're looking for a laid back getaway in the south west this is the perfect spot to base yourself.

Beautiful old world charm

On arrival we were greeted by the Manager Mary. Lovely person full of information and we felt at home immediately. The Old Theatre was fantastic. The rooms were large and extremely well fitted out. The style of decor was perfect for the Old Theatre and the location was great for walking into town.

It was a unique experience and everyone should stay there.

Unique, great location, well appointed

fully equipped with all modern amenities (kitchen, stove, fridge, heating, spa, nice shower), a great Kingsize bed, very quiet Location and then there was this Wonderful old time charm, e.g. stained glass Windows, layout of Apartment, even the light switches were original 1930's - wonderful

We were 2 couple on holiday and we stayed in Adyar cottage, spacious, 3 bedrooms, tv, log fire (lovely as it was very cold weather ), a short stoll to the pub or the IGA. While the cottage is comfortable & well equipped, it is looking a little tired and needs some up-dating, especially in the kitchen & bathroom. The owners have it for sale. The current owner Mary was lovely to talk to, full of information on the history & the area. I would stay there again.

Comfortable stay, needs a bit of updating.

Being interested in local history, we so enjoyed staying in the Old Picture Theater Holiday apartments.   Our unit could have accommodated 5 people very comfortably.  The kitchen was well equipped and we had no wifi issues.  We were there only one night but one could easily spend a couple of days in the area exploring.   We had a delightful hour in the morning with the owners who told us more of the history of the building.  It is within an easy walk of the rest of the town for meals etc.  A great place to stay!

Charming piece of history

Pemberton doesn't have much to offer except the poor climbing tree, the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree. However, if you're on the road, you're bound to stay at the Old Picture Theatre! It was actually a cinema in 1929. A long shed, now divided into four cozy apartments. We stayed in the back, called the Stage. And look, the former stage on the back wall of which the canvas was at the time still exists. So the small living room, the romantic bedroom and the elevated one, on the stage, four steps higher than the large kitchen with the original cinema seats. And, by the elevated location, the bathroom floor was made of a bathroom floor that was completely transformed into a cinema.
