We stayed in an animal friendly room and our dog managed to do a Houdini escape from the balcony when we accidentally left the sliding door open. Six cars, one exhausted employee on foot (Tristan), and one hour later, the dog was found. Fabulous brilliant effort on there part. Thank you very much.

Staff were brilliant

Drove into motel before 6pm. Reception closed and all locked up. Front door had phone number to call. I did call the number wanting to stay here. No idea who I spoke to but when I asked if they were open so I could book in was told "no not really". Needless to say I went else where............ Don't wast your time as they not interested in your business

Stay else where

Stayed there with friends and won’t ever again. The bathroom had a horrible smell, woke up very itchy and beds weren’t comfortable at all and the pillows were stained. I hope in the future they learn from this because any motel you should feel comfortable and not have to go to the nearest shop to buy 2 bottles of glen 20 and clean the room yourself. 

Wasn’t great

I loved the place smack bang in the centre of town everything at your door step and a cafe out the front thought it was grate and the people are friendly you room is clean and affordably priced what else would you ask for 

Grate location 

Stayed at the Jopen Motel Sussex Inlet several times. Great rates, comfortable rooms and a great cafe. Located centrally in the Sussex Inlet village, RSL located across the road for great meals and a short walk to parklands and the waters edge.

One nighter

 As a couple we really enjoyed our stay it had what we needed a big comfy bed, nice shower, hearty meals at the cafe topped off with awesome and friendly customer service. If you need to get away we highly recommend this place and Sussex Inlet for its great hospitality. Thank you

Long weekend 

To be honest we thought that Jopen Complex was a really nice place to stay.  Our room was very clean and tidy with a good sized bathroom.  Of all the rooms we have stayed in on this holiday and its quite a lot, Jopen Complex was the cleanest so far, thank you. The room had a good free wifi connection also a small balcony to sit outside. Attached to the complex is a cafe where you can buy breakfast.  A bit of advice if you order the big breakfast make sure you are hungry or have someone to help you out. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Sussex Inlet, wish we could have stayed a little longer. The staff we met, the man serving in the cafe and the cleaning lady were very friendly and helpful.

4th stop on our road trip of NSW

It's easy to find, very conveniently located. It's not far from the river and the lake. It's 10 minutes by car to the sea, but it's worth it. The rooms are simple and clean. The staff is friendly. There's a restaurant in the same place. There's free parking, but there's no Internet.

A normal place to stay

The bathroom wasn't clean. The floor was still dirty. The bathroom looked renovated, but only the bathroom they probably forgot. The worst thing I found was the many spiders in the bedroom. Whether on the ceiling, in the corners or on the curtain. I can't quite understand the good reviews.
