Wow.. budget accommodation... Travelling solo and got good price.. lovely room.. tv, microwave, kettle and toaster , heating, tv and fridge... Large room.. very clean .. even numbers on north side have view of horses... great..very happy...

Great budget stay close to town

The room we were given was left unclean from previous occupants. Dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom. The bed was left unmade from previous guests . Rubbish left in the room
No clean towels. Noisy bathroom. We could not block the noise.

Unbelievably terrible 

2 night stay, very basic, bed very old, no fan in bathroom, hand basin in sleeping area next to kettle , musty smell in room, electric blanket leads hidden under the mattress, water leaking from shower, visitors returning when toilet was flushed, reported to management, no repair, Management very disinterintersted  redeeming part, the breakfast was warm, aa thriving garden in the guttering,  stay again, NEVER

The disabled room was in a separate block at the rear of the motel in a very unkept and unpleasant area. The room was clean but had a lot of bugs and spiders. There was water damage on the walls and armchair and conduit for wiring was hanging off the wall.  Overall very disappointing. We were offered another room but the only excuse for the poor room was “well it is old “

Very disappointing

Stayed in room 15, I found no issues with the room in fact it had more than I had anticipated.  It was quiet, the bed was comfortable with tea/coffee making available.  There was also wifi and the host even suggested places to eat, a good overnight stay.

Good rates and service

Great Staff, Great Service, went over Christmas and got the same service as if it were any other time of the year.  Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we were made feel very welcome.  The pool was still available and all amenities available were many establishments do not do this over Christmas eve, Christmas day.

Excellent Value

I had a very last minute booking at the Lazy River. I was traveling from Shepparton to Mildura and my car broke down just outside of Swan Hill at about 7.00pm. 
Being 400km away from home I needed somewhere to stay - and quickly! I called the Lazy River and although they only had a family suite available, I was offered it at a single suite rate.
When I arrived at the Lazy River I was given permission to have the tow truck leave my car near the front entrance so I knew I would be safe, something I really appreciated.
The room I had was very spacious. It wasn't overly opulent, but it was definitely comfortable and had all of the facilities that you would expect of a hotel toom. Being a single business traveler it was a huge room just for myself, but I could see how it could easily accommodate a family. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower had great water pressure - just what I needed after a long, stressful day.
The highlight of my stay was the next morning. As my car had broken down I wasn't able to move it until Saturday afternoon (3 days later). I was starting to stress about where I could leave it, but the manager/ owner of the motel (I think her name was Lyn) was nice enough to let me leave my car at the motel until I could come and pick it up. I am eternally grateful for this small gesture of kindness. It definitely helped with my nerves.
I will definitely stay at the Lazy River again if I'm ever traveling through Swan Hill, and I will be recommending it to all of my colleagues for their business trips.

Very Accomodating

The motel room was old with cracks on the wall and ceiling. 
The shower door was broken and this door was  difficult to open and close.
 The overhead lights had lot of insects in the glass which look very ugly and disgusting.  
Also the management of the motel put  a Rules List on the wall, stipulating how to use the towels and dont mark them or they would be charged as though they had been stolen!! They also said no tea bags, sugar or tussue etc. to be taken. We are sure we have paid for that in the Motel Fee!  We have never had  this Motel Rules in the hole Life before. 
We would not recommend this motel and we will never stay there again!

We had a bad experience and impression in Lazy River Motel

We stayed here because of the price.The room was clean and had what we needed its only 5 mins to town.There are lots of mozzies /flies so keep door closed.We have stayed at a lot worse places than this so were pleasantly surprised.We had table and chairs which was good even though you could turn the table around Probably could do with a fix up

Good Overnight Stay

It,s the best resort advertised on the local radio,only $84/night with free Wi-Fi included. Luxurious rooms including shower and toilet and air con,and in units,fully self contained with everything u would expect in a home,away from home.
