Wow - and then some. Stayed here for an easy option to a nearby wedding! Perfect location and amenities for our needs and so many budgets and options catered too! They were still doing more improvements to their park, free pancakes on Sunday morning was a winner too! Great spot, staff were very accommodating and friendly also 

What a place 

Polite staff and very accommodating.  Villa clean and comfortable with plenty of room to accommodate two couples.  Easy access to Lake Tinnaroo and everything on the Tablelands.  Whole park was kept clean and tidy.

Great family weekend away. Disappointed that new water park wasn’t open to everyone but overall a great family trip away. 
Park was busy but everyone was polite and respectful. 
Unit was big and very comfortable, parking was a little difficult though.

Great weekend away

In my opinion, it’s that first experience, at any CV park, is how the staff set the scene when they meet and greet when you arrive. You’re tired and stressed after long demanding drive. This first interaction simply sets the scene for the whole experience that follows. The wonderful Josh and the lovely French lady (I apologise for not asking her what her name was. I may have been a little awe struck at the time). Most importantly, the staff are friendly, informative, and just downright professional. The CV park is in-itself reflected in that same professional, warmth and friendliness that first greets you.The caravan park is beautiful, well maintained, clean and offers easy access to Lake Tinaroo and a boat ramp - both just metres across the road. And don’t forget they’re pet friendly. You can’t go wrong at Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park. Highly recommend and hope to go back soon.

Family unit / cabin was ideal for our 2 night getaway. We had a wedding to attend nearby and were pleasantly surprised with the size and set up. The park itself is making further improvements and was a great spot for families especially. We do look forward to  visiting again, close to the Lake and staff were fantastic to deal with. Free pancakes on the Sunday morning was a bonus too! 

What a find

Second visit here with my 5 year old son. The first time we stayed in a cabin, this time we camped. Booked an unpowered site next to the spring. Unfortunately another group took our site. After informing the very helpful staff we were allowed to pick another site we'd like. Ended up very happy with the new spot a little further up the spring. The site was grassed, flat and had some shade. Rubbish bins and taps were nearby which is very convenient. Also it was only a short walk to the pool. We had a great time camping here. We brought our own firepit, but some sites had concrete ones. The toilet block is also a short walk and was very clean. I bought firewood from the reception for $15 for 15kg. Wood was hardwood and burned clean. It's a great location that has well maintained facilities and friendly staff. The reception sells a great variety of foods and pantry items and fresh coffee. The pool was sparkling clean and my son loved the kids playground. We will definitely return and probably camp for 4 - 6 nights to really take advantage of everything there. Totally recommend 👍

Perfect family friendly camping 

Overall it was a great experience, great site good emenities, plenty to do and see, amazing staff who made me feel very welcome, and great entertainment on the Saturday evening I would certainly recommend it to my friends  thank you for a great stay

Awesome an amazing place

Great Campsite, very quiet. Beautiful River with a day stay site, BBQ etc, toilets. Nice playground also for families. Stayed there overnight while travelling the coast down to Brisbane. Would stay there anytime again 😉

Lake Tinaroo Retreat, Qld, Australia

We stayed in a poolside cabin which was really handy for our daughter.  She loved the pool, playground and jumping pillow.  The cabin could have been cleaner, we asked for a mop so we could mop the floor, as our feet were getting really dirty.  There were dirty plates in the cupboard and we also found a used ear plug near the bed.  Would have been good to have an extra couple of towels and more toilet paper.

Good place to stay if you have kids

Love the place, sound.of the lake is very soothing and the local wildlife super friendly, have had the four ducks in our camp pretty much the whole time.

Good toilets and fresh water to clean with
