We had an amazing time at the Tinglewood Cabins, so relaxing and quiet. You are surrounding with nature. Cabin is well equipped with everything you need, very confortable, there is a bbq area. Fireplace gives an extra homy vibe. Chris and Sharon are the definition of kindness and care, always here to help and share. Highly recommended to stay there.

Amazing stay!

We had the most amazing family holiday at Tinglewood Cabins. The chalets have a lovely atmosphere and are very comfortable. We stayed in the Blue Wren Chalet which is 3 bedroom and suited our family of 4 perfectly.

The wildlife such as the kookaburras, magpies, 28s and kangaroos were a regular talking point with our kids. We so enjoyed their visits and being immersed in nature. There is a beautiful walk through forest on the property which I highly recommend, pure magic. Our kids also enjoyed playing cricket (equipment provided by Tinglewood Cabins), the property is very spacious. There is a good washing machine in the undercover area which is free to use and very handy. 

There is so much to do in the Walpole area. Some of our highlights were climbing the Mount Frankland Summit, kayaking on the Frankland River, swimming at Circular Pool and swimming at Madfish Bay to name a few. Thank you to Chris and Sharon for your awesome tips and for having us. Look forward to returning to your piece of paradise.

Amazing family holiday in lovely chalets immersed in nature

Wow, this place is amazing every time we visit Chris and Sharon are amazing and do a fantastic job the accommodation is clean and comfortable ❤️ has everything you need and it is so peaceful and quiet sitting on the balcony and watching the birds and kangaroos This place is amazing thank you for the amazing holiday will be back soon. But best place ever. 

Wow fantastic amazing 

Absolutely amazing place to stay. The cabins are so cozy and super clean.
It’s set on top of the hill with all green lawns and beautiful big trees. 
The kangaroos were so cool and cute, and there’s so many birds.
The owners are really friendly and it was just a wonderful get away.
So many places around Walpole to explore.

Stunning place to stay - can’t wait to go back .

Lovely cabins but zero customer service etiquette from the owners. I’m aware the Covid pandemic negatively affected many business owners but respect goes a long way. I shall NOT recommend the cabin to any family , business associates or friends in the future .

Disgusted Customer

Absolutely atrocious customer service. 

My partner and I stayed at this accommodation. On arrival we were greeted by a reasonably friendly lady who should have clearly seen that only my girlfriend and I were travelling in my car. After staying two nights we departed and I later received a message that falsely accused us of breaching the booking terms by hosting three extra guests. We absolutely did not. They proceeded to charge my bank account without permission or authorisation.

They even had the audacity to accuse me of arriving intentionally late, apparently to sneak people in? It’s inflammatory to be accused of such nonsense.

After a text exchange they demanded I call. Upon calling a man answered. He was very quick to anger, inaccurate with time frames and condescending. He maintained his false accusation and insinuated I was lying. I took exception to this (honesty and integrity are important to me). His temper flared and he foolishly threatened me with physical violence.

I’ve reported this vendor to the police for taking money and threatening physical violence. I’ve also filed a complaint with consumer protection (usually a formality before taking further legal action in court in my experience), and have also reported the unauthorised transaction to my bank. I’m only just getting started as I hate injustice.

The obnoxious threat, false accusations and money that was wrongly taken completely ruined the holiday. Apparently he even reported me for allegedly breaching booking terms. Obviously without proof as his accusation is entirely false.

Terrible experience

Most amazing place chris and sharon are very helpful and look after you during your stay. Amazing chalets we had the 2 brm with 2 queen beds the chalets are very clean and well equipped the views and wildlife is amazing if you are looking for a quiet break this is the place to go. There is only 4 chalets on the property there is a log fire for cold night just chop your own wood. But the chalets are amazing 2 brms lounge and kitchen area nice bathroom and laundry facilities .

Fantastic stay thanku

Tinglewood Cabins is a gem amongst the amazing giant Tinglewood trees. The accomodation is fantastic, well appointed with everything you need for a quiet break.  The 3 bedroom cabin suits a family of 6 with the outlook of a forest and grass area the allow children to play safely. The hosts Chris and Sharon are very friendly and happy to ensure your stay is effortless.. Recommend the cabins to all.
We will be back.

Amazing location and experience

I cannot recommend Tinglewood cabins enough if you’re looking for a quiet place and beautiful place to stay in Walpole. Chris and Sharon were both lovely and welcoming and the cabin was comfortable and cosy with a wood fire. In the afternoons there was a plethora of wildlife to keep you company and there is even a decent walk around the property.

Absolutely loved it

Our 5th stay at tinglewood cabins. As always it was a treat. Thanks to chris and sharon again. We will be back again next year. You will not be disappointed if you choose tinglewood. Bbq facilities are first rate, accommodation is first rate. All is first rate.
