Very disappointed,  see photos.  Kitchen chair vinyl holey,  throw rug dirty, door knobs falling off, TV'S  not working all channels.  Generally felt dirty.  Freezer in fridge full of ice  needed defrosting. Shower tiles and grout dirty,  rubbish bin in bathroom filthy didn't want to touch it. Because of ripped chairs they would not have been cleaned properly.

Dirty and disappointing 

This is the 3rd stay for us. Always have had amazing service. Very accommodating to all our needs.
The Villas are a fantastic space for our family. Everything suits us perfectly. We are very happy staying here and will definitely be back.


Amazing! Service & Accomodation

I stayed at the Short Stay Villa in 2016 and having found it highly satisfactory then, I’ve returned for the Labour Day long weekend of 2020. It’s located on the outskirts of Werribee so if you’re looking for a place that’s surrounded by eateries, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for something that’s quiet and self contained, then this is definitely the place.

This accommodation would be best suited to either singles or couples. Although there are 2 bedroom units that would accommodate a family with 1-2 kids, there’s no play areas or swimming pools to keep kids entertained.

Part of the complex is actually a retirement village so the accommodation are units of either 1 or 2 bedrooms. Last time, I stayed in a 2 bedroom one; this time, just 1 but for one person it’s plenty. As mentioned previously, they’re self contained with their own kitchen area and utensils, crockery, etc so that one can cook (rather than eat out) if they wish to. The only thing that’s missing is a washing machine or laundry hence the 4 star rating. As I’m only here for a weekend, it’s not such a big deal for me personally; for those staying a bit longer, though, it might be more of an issue.

Other points in favour of Short Stay Villas:

1) Well cleaned and maintained villas

2) Modern furniture, plumbing and electricity

3) Showers are nice and warm

4) Close to a BP petrol station

5) Reception staff are lovely, especially John who managed the check in process for me

Great for those seeking quiet self contained accommodation

Located on the outskirts of Werribee this facility provides comfortable self-catering accommodation . Very clean and well maintained surrounds. Staff excellent. The facility is located close to the township and the Geelong freeway.

A pleasure to stay

Booked this accommodation through Expedia. Nowhere does it mention this is situated within a retirement village. 

Although the villas are clean and tidy. It is quiet the bucket of ice water on a romantic getaway with the hubby. 

When I arrived home and called to complain the man on the phone dismissed me and said it’s a life style complex. Call it what you will. It’s a retirement village. He then hung up on me!!!  So rude. 

It’s clear they are representing themselves as little villas. So much so that Expedia issued me a refund due to the misinformation. They should advertise it for what it is so people know what they are getting.

Fooling guests and rude customer service.

We stayed here for one night. The unit was quite spacious,clean and nice furnishings. It’s certainly value for money. It’s part of a seniors home but they are in another part of the area. It’s very quiet. 

Fantastic

We stayed for 5 nights in February. Jo and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and tidy; the only negative I could think of is the lack of laundry in the Villa, otherwise it was very nice indeed.

Clean and tidy

Very clean and tidy villa, Small 1 bedroom with carport, suitable for a 1 night stay but even longer stay would be ok. There is no laundry facilities in the unit but everything is there for self contained. No microwave in the Avalon which we stayed in. Large comfortable bed and slept very well, quiet environment. We have re booked again for another family function.

Overnight stay

Nice little Villa's.  2 Bedroom with a carport, nice kitchen and an air-conditoner.  Fairly small living area - but do-able for 2-3 nights.  Fabulously clean and all modern facilities.  What more do you need really.
