The amenities are clean. However had a bad experience with fishing rods stolen Saturday night whilst asleep in the caravan. Reported it and they said that it had happened before and security are aware.

Bad experience

Cabin was very clean and spacious with great facilities but somewhat expensive compared to similar accomodation in other tourist parks we have stayed in.  It is well located near the lake and only thing missing was HD tv and WiFi.

Nice cabin but rather expensive

Stayed in an onsite 2 bed cabin with the with, daughter and her husband and 2 grand babies.  The cabin was clean and it was nice they contacted us around noon and said the cabin ready so we checked in early.

The cabin had linen including face washers and shampoo/ conditioner. All the other usual stuff for cooking/ cleaning  etc.  There stove included an oven, not that we used it. The beds were made up as 2 king size and a single.

There is BBQ on the covered veranda with a sink and a bench with seats. The BBQ is however a bit small for a family and only has open grill so you cannot cook an egg on it.

The hot water is instantaneous and we had a bit of trouble one night. There seems to be no way to contact anyone after hours to ask a question. The office is closed and there was no after hours phone number that I could find at the office or in the cabin.

clean cabins with a few little luxuries

With family in the neighbourhood, we chose to stay in a 5-berth Deluxe cabin. It was spacious, clean and overlooked the water with a large deck and wheelchair access. During our 2-night stay, we were able to entertain our son and family with just a short walk to the beach and playground. Staff were very friendly and efficient and we are booked to return to the tourist park again in the near future.

Cabin By The Water

We had a 2 bedroom with bathtub, kitchen, living area, bbq and balcony. Cottage was ok, beds were not too comfortable but bunk bed room was handy for kids. Pillows were pretty flat so bring some if you need more support. We were pretty cold at night and needed all the blankets they had on offer. Couldn't find a chopping board but we enjoyed cooking and the balcony with friends from nearby cabins. Though this is on the lake, access isn't straight forward and access to beach is out the back of the facility. So it isn't ideally situated for views or flow to either ocean or lake. Call ahead if checking in after hours so reception can leave your info in the lock box. Price was good and worked for our group travel needs.

Good price and location

Lovely little park. Older but very clean neat and tidy. Positioned between the lake and the sea it is well sited. 
That said, I would only stay here as a pass through. Just personal choice but out of the park your in the middle of the suburbs. And old suburbs at that.  The park was definitely the rose amongst the thorns. 
As I said, just personal choice but when I go for a beach holiday I want to feel like I’m away from the rat race. Here, I didn’t. 
But, as I said, cannot fault the park or the friendly staff.


Lovely park.

We are a family of five and had a lovely stay in a three room cabin. It was clean, quiet and right on the beach.  Beautiful Thai restaurant near by. The staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Very clean, Friendly Staff and Great location

We rushed to sydney on a family emergency. We were able to secure this deluxe cabin which was good sized close to the water.
There was a bench Barbie que but we didn't get to use it but would love to have.
The tv didn't work when I notified reception they immediately had someone attend and time them in correctly. 
Spa bath was awesome.
If though they are older cabins they are clean spacious great for family's and in great spot.
The only issue I had which really annoyed me was absolutely hard getting wifi they had no free wifi like other places and even trying to use my own it just didn't stay connected kept dropping out. 
Reception staff were very friendly. 

Good clean cabin

Great spot, very clean, cabins equipped with everything you need, comfy beds, friendly staff, easy walking distance to lake for a fish, close to parks, shops, local club, not to over commercialised, we will be back 😊

Great park

The highlights were that the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the park is situated in close proximity to the ocean and lake beaches. Over the course of our stay we used an Ensuite Powered Site and a 2 Bedroom 4 Berth Cabin. The Ensuite for the powered site was clean inside with sufficient space for one, but the inside powerpoint did not work even though it appeared newish with a USB slot; we had to use the outdoor powerpoint instead. We notified the front desk but it wasn't repaired before our departure. Throughout the site there were lots of cigarette butts on the ground, which we picked up just to make the area more comfortable. We needed to avoid some black oil spots in the grass at the back of the site near the en suite. The first night we saw a giant cockroach crawling on the hand railing up to the ensuite, then a smaller one inside the bathroom the next morning. 
The cabin (the farthest from the office in the row of these smaller cabins) was clean and spacious with a full kitchen and a nice covered porch for enjoying a meal or drink outdoors. Due to its age this cabin had an off-putting smell--depending on who you talk to--of either rancid oil or old body odour in the main area (open plan for kitchen, sitting, and dining rooms). Leaving the sliding door open with the screen door shut, and burning candles and incense helped. Just after dinner we spotted a larger cockroach than seen the previous days crawling along the floor in the sitting/dining area of the cabin. We will not stay in this type of cabin at this park again unless upgrades have been made. More frequent pest extermination maintenance would likely reduce the roach sightings (we didn't see any roaches at any of the other camp spots in the area on this five-week trip).
