I stayed at this pension for two nights last month whilst on a motoring holiday around parts of Austria. I needed to stay in this area so I could spend a day visiting the nearby city of Graz.
I found the pension with no real problem although my car's satnav did get confused as I exited the nearby motorway. It could be that there have been new roads built around here in the last couple of years which did not seem to register on my satnav. When I pulled up at the location I did actually fist go in the restaurant next door thinking this was the entrance. A helpful chap in there put me right. More about this nice eating place later.
When I eventually got to the entrance to the pension sellotaped to the door was an envelope with my name on it. Inside was a key to the door and another to my room. There was nobody to actually meet me and I did not see anyone till breakfast the next morning.
I fond my room and was completely satisfied with it. I had been given a double room for just myself. Everything was clean and fresh and the adjoining bathroom was just as good. For a two night  stay this was all perfectly adequate. I could see from my phone there was a secured wi-fi access point but I could find no details anywhere of a password. 
Having settled in I walked back round to the restaurant next door. This is Joe's New Orleans Bar & Grill. A  place offering Southern USA style food and drink. I had a good chicken meal here.
The next morning in the pension I met the landlady and enjoyed a typical continental style breakfast with good coffee. I was given the password for the wi-fi which worked well.
As mentioned at the start of this review I stayed here as it seemed convenient to get into nearby Graz. Prior to making my trip I had found there was a bus service close by. In fact there was a bus stop right outside the pension. I did get a bit confused though. This bus takes you to a large retail park and ride stop where it terminates. I spent some time looking around for a connecting bus to take me on into the city. I then noticed a rail line, walked around a corner and found a tram stop. I got on the next tram which came along and that took me right into the center of Graz. 
To sum up my review of Pension Murhof I would say that it was a suitable place for a short stay to act as a base to visit nearby locations. It's not a full service hotel, and depending on when you arrive you might not get a personal greeting, but for the price I paid I considered it good value.
