It's a super snug hotel in a great location for a stroll through the vineyards, central and yet very quiet with a beautiful courtyard that invites you to stay.

A Troooom

A very cozy and clean hotel in the centre of Gumpoldskirchen. The hotel is family run and the staff are friendly and helpful. Good breakfast in the rustic breakfast room with a selection of sausage, cheese, vegetables etc. Eggs are always prepared fresh after wound. There is also a super lovely hotel dog Heidi :)

Cozy and very clean hotel in the centre of Gumpoldskirchen

We have chosen the family-run Krug Hotel as the starting point for our short trip to the wine region around Gumpoldkirchen. The rooms are clean, comfortable, convenient, according to standard, the breakfast in buffet form is very good, the chef and the staff of the house are very friendly and hospitable. There is a shady courtyard with seating facilities and a fridge where the highly recommended Krug - house wine specialties can be tasted directly by us!

I'll be back anytime.

This is surely not the est equipped hotel in the region, but the kindlyness of the onwers and the staff makes it up.
Would be nice to have air-conditioning in the rooms, otherwise no major flaws. Breakfast is great and flexible. The Krug family also has a restaurant, which unforunately does not offer the same dedicated staff.

Cosy hotel, friendly staff

Breakfast was very tasty, plenty of choice. The hotel has few rooms and creates a family atmosphere. Very clean!! Was warmly received on arrival, is also super (500m from the train station). Can also walk around more easily than 4* hotel ;) Absolutely recommended, price/performance top come back!

It's a great 3* hotel.

Professionaly run family business. Quiet place with a great breakfast. Very nice! We really felt very welcome. Be sure to check out the great Krug wines, especially 'Die Versuchung'. Will definitely come back....

We visited krug gumpoldskirchen for lunch during our stay in Austria. The decore, food and staff are all traditionally Austrian and all are quite excellent. We had a wonderful lunch with their in-house wine both red and white are delicious. The Tafelspitz and Butter schnitzel were fabulous. Very friendly and personable staff were always on hand.

Quite excellent in every way.
If you can get out to Gumpoldskirchen you will not be disappointed.

Excellent Traditional Austrian Cuisine

The Krug Hotel is located in the middle of the village in a side street. We booked a room in country style (price) We got a bright corner room with massive wooden furniture (room 5). The rooms are very clean. There is a shady courtyard with seating furniture to stay. The breakfast room is also very attractive. The breakfast buffet with good baked goods, sausage, cheese, marmalade and cereal and eggs cooked to your liking is a successful start in the morning. The service is friendly. That there is no one in the bar during the day and you have to give yourself a key code by phone after lunch, I find it unpleasant.

I came to this hotel recommended by friends. The welcome and the whole atmosphere is very friendly and familiar. There must be a key safe at the entrance. Here, if the reception is not occupied, you get a code, your room key. It works very well and simply. I had a room in the small courtyard. My room had a double bed, a desk, a large enough bathroom and a small hall with a closet. Everything was clean and sufficient for my purposes. Staying calm and comfortable in a family atmosphere

We stayed at the Hotel Krug on the suggestion of my brother-in-law who stayed for work. The hotel is very nice, clean and well maintained with a small courtyard with tables set up. The rooms are standard, equipped with Wi-Fi and all overlook the inner courtyard.
