Rooms:
I believe that the high level of cleanliness of the hotel rooms deserves to be mentioned as the first thing in my review. The only "problem" was the absence of air conditioning, which would come in handy during the heatwaves. However, generally speaking, the atmosphere was very welcoming, high level of hygiene and the room was equipped with everything necessary (except for AC).

Personnel:
The personnel was friendly and helpful, although the communication in English was a bit more challenging.
Numerically: 9/10

Breakfast:
Reasonable selection.
Numerically: 8/10

Very good; 8.5/10.

Nice and clean

We were nevertheless pleasantly surprised by one recommendation: absolutely convincing price-performance ratio. Friendly staff, early check-in, quiet clean, spacious single rooms  appropriate facilities, good sleeping comfort, rich breakfast. No problem parking in the home parking lot. For the short trips to the centre (main square & MilAk) we used a taxi each day. There is probably a bus available.

The 3* House has exceeded expectations

Very simple hotel in a quiet location. Even though it is located right next to the airport in Neustadt, it is still very quiet. The rooms were clean and simple but conveniently furnished. Since it is located on the outskirts of the city, the walking path to the old town is relatively long. Here the bus is recommended. Breakfast was sufficient and good. The price-performance ratio here is still true.

It's a simple hotel

Stayed here recently whilst on business inWiner Neustadt.

A colleague made the booking for me on the basis that he’d stayed here previously when he’d visited the same customer.

Essentially, it is what it is.

Don’t expect luxury. It’s very basic although the rooms are clean. Rooms also have real keys on a heavy metal key ring which you rarely see these day.

Don’t expect haute cuisine. Breakfast gets you going (especially the strong coffee) although is more suited to European tastes.

Do expect friendly staff. The are very pleasant and speak many languages.

Do expect to get your shin bashed on the wooden bed frame. I still have the scar to prove that.

Do expect that you can walk to any of the businesses in Wiener Neustadt from the hotel. It is very central to the town.

Also not sure if the hotel is making sure that their non-smoking rooms really are as mine suggested that somebody had been smoking in the room.

So at the end of the day, it’s a 3 star regional hotel, like so many others I’ve stayed in across Europe.

Would I stay again? Yes, if that’s the kind of hotel I was looking for. If you want one of the more regular global brands, the you’d probably be looking elsewhere although you’d be quite a few miles away from the town.

Up with the best in Wiener Neustadt

We were at the Red Bull Air Races on site. The hotel and the rooms were clean, the breakfast was varied and very tasty. It was always served fresh and the staff was friendly and very friendly. We felt comfortable around and would book there all the time.

It's a nice hotel.

Stayed there one night for the second time! I love this place! Parked my airplane in the airport next to the hotel due to weather and booked a room via the tower in this hotel, the ladies running this hotel are amazing! Helpful and nice! The rooms are looks old but in amazing condition! Really i feel there like home.. You have restaurant and McDonald's in front of the hotel and perfect breakfast! For sure it's not the last time for me! 

Amazing place 

The Steinfeld Hotel is located on the northern outskirts of Vienna's Neustadt. A very good accommodation, very clean and quiet. Across the street you can find a restaurant or go to the city. Good price-performance ratio. Great breakfast buffet.

It's a great hotel.

It's a simple room, but with everything you need. (Except the air conditioning! But it wasn't so important in December now. :D) It was very quiet, although there is a small airport next door. The window gets really dark. Little reading lamps by the bed. Room in the bathroom for your own things. Good breakfast. The young lady from the staff was very nice.

Nice surprise.

Clean and friendly rooms, quiet location, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately, as far as everything is concerned, free WiFi is an absolute disaster.

Simple and good

I stay here when visiting Diamond Aircraft next door. This is a good hotel for a short stay. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. Good wifi in the rooms. Located at the airport and opposite the excellent Hollers steak restaurant. Breakfast is good and on a nice sunny morning served also outside. Friendly staff.
