Bouillon

Very friendly stay (as part of a stay organized by my walking club for about thirty people) in this hotel where the weather seems to have stopped. Excellent dinner, perfect breakfast and the most friendly welcome by the boss who watches everything..... and who has to work about thirty hours a day?!

Stopping at the hotel's restaurant completely by chance, on the road from France to Liège... you can feel the family side directly and the charm of the place is adorable.

We recommend

Very welcome to the hotel. Nice location, close to the centre. Good food and rediscovery of very old decorative objects in the restaurant.

Pleasant stay at the Alsace de Bouillon hostel

My wife and I have chosen to stay at the Alsace Hostel, and we do not regret it, but on the contrary, we have been very welcomed and the menu we have chosen has pleased us. We will return there.

This hotel managed to organise accommodation for 11 of us. They were very friendly and helpful.
There was motorcycle parking right by the hotel's door, not secured but it is very unlikely to have any security issues in the area.

We were a big group riding on the amazing roads of Bouillon and surrounding areas and it was good to know we had easy parking and a place to rest at the end of the day.

The only thing I did not like is that the hotel has an indoors smoking area. Not ideal for non smokers.

This is not a modern hotel but it has all the usual facilities and it is clean. The breakfast is substantial and filling. The coffee is just NOT GOOD - and that is for the whole of Belgium and France.

Although the members of staff did not speak very good English, they were very friendly and helpful.

Classic, clean and ideal for short trip

While we found ourselves without a hotel, after 11:00 p.m., following a mishap, we had contacted several hotels in the area, thanks to the internet. Although already closed, this hotel on the edge of the seedling, in the center of the soup, opened its doors to us and the tenant accepted with kindness and hospitality to welcome us, despite the late hour. So we were able to avoid having to make a 1:30 road trip. The rooms are more classic than modern. The style may seem a bit typical of the Ardennes and has its charm. The cleanliness may be just right. The shower and the lounge were a little narrow but the main room was the bathroom and the hostess, a decoration once again very comfortable but a nice lunch for the people.

Charming welcome, at the customer service, even at very late hours.

If you like the authentic, hotel to discover. Superb antiques, spacious room, refined kitchen, patronage to your ears and very nice. The staff is very attentive to the customers. Very clean. Any little bemoal, smelling of cigarettes coming from the smoking room. when you're installed in the non-smoking room.

Surprisingly

It's a very nice reception, the staff is smiling and helpful, not a bad choice for all tastes.

A stopover in Bouillon, a good meal at this restaurant

This is a well run family hotel if the most traditional of styles. Maybe a bit dated but a successful formula. It's the kind of hotel you may have been hoping to find in the 90's , good restaurant, clean rooms, very efficient staff, parking available. It's in the lovely Ardennes town of Bouillon just subjacent to the entry tunnel. The room price is not overly expensive and makes a great stay. We stayed an extra night just because it was a good experience 

Really pleasant stay

The hotel is clean and well-eaten. The decor is very rustic: beds are stained and carpeted in the rooms. But the main focus is on the quality of the menu offered and the view of the Semois. We recommend this establishment for a stay with friends. It allows groups to be accommodated according to the number of rooms offered. The staff is attentive.
