We stayed at this guesthouse over the weekend, the guesthouse is beautiful and the owners make you feel so welcome. The room was gorgeous had everything you required  and was absolutely spotless throughout. Breakfast was a nice continental range of choice and freshly squeezed orange juice, and the hosts left a tray of snacks which was a warm touch. A truly wonderful place, if i could given 10 stars i would! 😊

Beautiful home and excellent hosts 

This was the best stay I've ever had in hotel or guesthouse. Everything was perfect from start to finish. 

Service: incredibly friendly and helpful, with amazing touches such as a tray of assorted snacks left outside our room decorated by roses. 

Room: beautifully decorated and completely spotless. It was spacious, light and smelt incredible. The bed was huge and very comfy. Lovely touches such as trays of chocolates and flowers. Adjustable light settings. Bathroom was gorgeous too - water pressure in the shower was perfect. 

Food: breakfast was amazing with a choice of various meats, cheeses and breads, cereals, pastries, cake, and eggs cooked to order. Amazing coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice! Little touches on the table such as ferrero rocher. Lovely views out to the little courtyard. 

Location: Bruges is very, very busy so we were glad that we were about a 10 minute walk from the centre - it provided some much needed peace and quiet. Great if you need parking, but we got the train and it was only a 15 minute, flat and very picturesque walk from the station. 

I can't stress enough how lovely this accommodation is - we were blown away.

What a brilliant place

We stayed last weekend and everything was amazing.
Extremely welcoming owners. The whole house is beautifully decorated to a very high standard.
The room was lovely.
Came back on the Saturday to a lovely tray of fruit, crisps and nuts snack which was a welcome surprise.
Would definitely recommend and plan to return to this outstanding guesthouse.

Fantastic weekend

We could not have picked a better place to stay. We were greeted by the lovely Luc and Leen who made our stay perfect. We arrived earlier than the check in time stated but it was not a problem, and we were shown around the house and to our room. We were also given a map and Luc explained a bit about the area.

The guesthouse is decorated to an extremely high standard. Every part is beautiful and it feels very homely and welcoming. Our room was absolutely beautiful. I loved the layout of the room and how the bedroom and the bathroom linked. The bed was huge and very very comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean and it feels very luxurious. 

Also, the bathroom leads to a lovely balcony. We were extremely lucky with the sunny weather for October and so we did spend some time sitting there. Its a lovely spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning. 

Like other reviews - the breakfast is definitely worth mentioning. The breakfast was great, we had lots of choice of breads, meats and cheeses. In addition you could also have granola, fresh fruit and yoghurt, as well as a choice of teas, coffees and freshly squeezed orange juice. It set us up for a day of exploring the city. 

Also, we were given a lovely late afternoon snack of fruits, nuts and crisps to enjoy whilst relaxing back at the hotel after a long day of exploring. This was such a lovely surprise. 

Nothing is too far to walk in Bruges as it is quite a small city. When we arrived at the train station we walked to the guesthouse which didn't take more than 15 minutes. Then each day we would walk into central Bruges which also took around 10-15 minutes, and theres lots of lovely things to see on the way. The guesthouse is quite close to Minneswater lake, which is breathtaking. 

The attention to detail put into the whole stay by Luc and Leen was just amazing. Thank you both very much, you made our stay in Bruges wonderful!!!! We will definitely be back, and we 100% recommend Guesthouse 133 to everyone visiting Bruges!!!

Amazing guest house - recommend 100%!

Guaranteed heart! We stayed 2 nights at Guesthouse 133 in their Studio Lit King Size and our stay was simply idyllic. Welcome to the warmest by a charming couple, a varied and well-provided breakfast, absolutely perfect studio, maximum comfort, zen atmosphere, ideal if like us you also want a little cocooner ;) or if the weather is desirable, because much more than a foot-to-ground, it is a real small-house warm and decorated with care and taste.

It's an idyllic stay!

Guest room with a lot of charm, very welcoming guests and little intrusive care. We had a wonderful weekend. Close to the centre of Bruges, we were able to make our tour on foot, without having to take the car. Free parking just next door. The room is impeccable, breakfast very cozy. Thank you to our host for his kindness, his city tour advice. I highly recommend this address. The small private terrace with the luxurious bathroom is a plus. In short: everything was absolutely perfect, thank you.

Thank you to our guests for this wonderful weekend if you are looking for accommodation on bruge perfectly located and magnificent with a very warm shelter don't look any further you have found you will be a five minute walk from downtown the rooms are like new breakfast is plentiful the room is immaculate brief tt edt perfect

An unforgettable weekend

Booked as a surprise weekend break our pedal taxi dropped us at 133 and we were greeted by Leen and Luc, the lovely couple who operate this delightful guesthouse on weekends only just a short walk over the swinging bridge from the cobbled streets and canals of Bruges.

Our room was the split level on the top floor and was worth every penny, we had kitchen, lounge and dining table with a very clean and pleasant bathroom and then a twisty staircase up to the bedroom.

Luc had already exchanged email with my wife so we had a few tips and hints and a great dinner reservation at de Mangerie for Saturday evening. For Friday evening we just wandered around, had a few drinks and dinner before returning for a great night's sleep.

Saturday morning breakfast was a delight, the freshest, zingiest oranges/freshly squeezed juice, a selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, rolls and pastries as well as made to order eggs (omelette, poached, scrambled etc) with bacon, ham etc. All this sitting next to the sunny courtyard.

Saturday, brewery visit and tasting at the Half Moon brewery (essential) up the Belfort tower, around the town and then a perfect dinner. A blissful night's sleep.

Sunday, repeat, settle up with Luc (cash only) and he said we could keep the room until our evening train (no charge) and a photo by the front door. We then toddled off into Kiningen Astrid park before the Folk Museum (a beer and a coffee in the Black Cat cafe), a pre-lunch beer at Cambrinus followed by Frikandel and frites and ice cream, a bout of chocolate shopping at the Chocolate Line and we were all set to come home.

I would do it again tomorrow.
