Arrived at 10 pm and greeted by Bernard who gave us a quick overview of Bruges including good walks, worthy sights, etc.  The extra effort to be hospitable was a really nice touch and sold us immediately.  The set up is quite quirky and unique.  There is only space for 2 couples who stay above a communal lounge/breakfast area.  In the winter you can get the fire going, in the summer, you can sit out on the patio overlooking the park.  Location is excellent (5 mins from lake of lovers, 15 mins from town centre), breakfast is continental and faultless, can't recommend it enough.

We felt very comfortable right away. The two hosts were super friendly and saved our stay in Bruges (after we were at our originally booked B&B in front of closed doors, as the hostess was on vacation without giving notice). So at this point, thank you very much again for hosting us so spontaneously! We really enjoyed the days at the B&B Koetshuis and will definitely be welcome back. Everything is very lovingly arranged. The breakfast leaves no wishes open and the room with parking view gives you the necessary peace of mind.

Dreaming beautiful - you feel at home

Our nephew recommended this gem to us and we are so glad that he did! From start to finish we were so pleasantly pleased with every aspect of our stay-greetings, recommendation for great restaurants and places to buy chocolates, sights to see via walking tours AND at the end of the day we relaxed and warmed ourselves by the fire and collapsed into a very comfortable bed. We woke up to a delicious breakfast that Bernard had delivered (after setting the table so beautifully) -the pastries, fresh juice, meats, eggs coffee, fruit and yogurt started our day's adventure in a wonderful way! We had cool but sunny days in Brugge-the second day after much walking, we came back and sat on the lovely patio (canal side) and warmed our faces in the sun while listening to the songs of the birds and watching tourists stroll through the beautiful park. The city at night is even more spectacular (hard to believe) than it is by day. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to Brugge! Bernard even gave us a ride to the train station the morning of our departure! Just fabulous!

Wonderful stay

We have just stayed two nights at the B&B Koestshuis and were delighted with the booked welcome. The owners were very friendly, gave us a guide and a map of Bruges and gave us their good addresses (restaurants, chocolate shops, tea rooms...). This is very convenient and allows us to avoid tourist attractions. As for the rooms, they are located in a dependency. Our (there are two) was in good condition and provided on the park which is just behind us, We are very charming! The hot tub is also a valuable asset.

Lovely guest house

We stayed only one night, and Barbara and Bernard were very kind to us all, helping us with tourist information and guiding us on how to continue our journey, even with information in Spanish.

We are delighted to visit them!

Don't book this if you are expecting accommodation like a hotel chain but do if you want to have all of the home comforts as if you are staying with friends. The 2 bedroom self contained building is a 5-10 minute walk into town. The owners are very friendly and off street parking is available. The breakfast is excellent and there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Good find that I would book again.

Friendly and comfortable accommodation

The B&B consists of a two-storey house; it is flanked on one side by the garden of the owners of the house and on the other by a beautiful park overlooking a dehors. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with breakfast, on the first floor two bathrooms.

Quality B&Bs

Very basic accomodation , mosquito heaven as its on the back of the park and water , I got bit about 20 times in my room over 2 nights , had to find a doctor . I personally found sharing accomodation quite strange and would have prefered a regular hotel in the end , and could have booked a nice one for this sort of money . My general feeling about it all was disapointing : ( !

We stayed here for 2 nights in October 2015 and were really pleased with the accommodation and service.  The buffet breakfast is excellent and the complimentary cityguide was a nice touch. We would recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Bruges.

Highly recommended

A very nice, intimate and rustic b&b located not just in the center but absolutely in a good area. A warm welcome from Bernard, who gave us valuable information and advice. Our room was on the 1st floor of a lodge shared with another room (very interesting). On the ground floor there was the living room with micro kitchen and relaxation area. Pleasant view in the green, 4 stars only because it took a great deal of effort to find the right entrance! Really recommended
