The Hotel is very close to the train station but around 15 minutes walking till the center of Bruges. Quiet Neighbourhood. The room was clean and neat. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I did not hear people in the near rooms. The bathroom was shared, but was always available. Clean and warm.

Clean room, good location

The hotel building and nearby restaurants were working. I didn't try the food, but the Belgian beer was very good. I liked the fact that nearby the hotel and the restaurants there were not too many tourists. Bruges is a very clean, well-kept, fragrant city. It was very nice to walk around the canal this day and evening, but the center was only a good morning and early evening (9 and 10 July 2019).

The location of hotel Bagientje is perfect, only a few minutes walking to the city center.
Getting to the rooms is a bit strange, in the restaurant there is a small door behind the bar. As soon as you walk upstairs a strange smell welcomes you, this smell is also in the rooms. Seems like a plumbing issue. 
We had room #1, which has a private bathroom. The room is very much dated, bedlight is missing, paintings not aligned. The duvet is old, filling is not spread but sticks somewhere in the middel. There is no door to the bathroom, just a very small gap in the wall to enter. To switch on the light you need to go into the bathroom all the way, the switch is on the back wall. Toilet has no seat cover.
For €95 per night it is very much over priced, you can get a more modern hotelroom in the city center for just €10 extra.
Realy hope they will do some renovation soon, since the staff is friendly and the bar/restaurant below is a great feature that has a very good ambiance.

5mins walk from station. 10mins to the center. Staff friendly but quiet. Its a popular restaurant at weekends which means noisey trying to sleep. Room 1 had no bathroom door. Lovely old building but that also means you can hear people staying above and below the rooms. The bed was made up every day with new bottles of water left on the table. 
Based on noise alone, i would not stay here again. 


Good location. Average hotel

Very close to the train station and not to far from the city center. 
We had room 1, this has its own bathroom. There is no door between the bedroom and bathroom. The room was clean and the staff friendly but everything is a bit old (chip of the cup in the room, cracks in the sinks, threads coming off the towels). Basic but all you need when you are out all day. The mattress is good  but because it is an old bounding it is noisy (we could hear the people above walking around). 
Every day you get a bottle of water in the room for free.

Good location to train station and city center

Hotel closed on Tuesday so we have to go get the key from the corner bar, welcome is unfortunate, the employee takes us through the garbage dump to access our room. We leave very early tomorrow morning but there is no possibility of having the PDJ (included in the price) before 8:30, so let's forget about the PDJ. This kind of hotel should not exist anymore.

What about a hotel?

The hotel is in an excellent position to visit Bruges, in 5 minutes you are at the Beghinaggio and in 15 you reach the main square. In addition the house is surrounded by green. The structure is undoubtedly to be redecorated, although it has a certain charm of ancient dwelling. The main problem that we found is that the wooden stairs and the dated finishes make the rooms quite noisy at night when someone moves between the floors (capita, because some rooms have a common bathroom). However, you can support.

Old house in excellent position to visit Bruges

Very nice place to stay just inside the old heart of Bruges. Slept well and the room was very clean, water and coffee in the room. Nice restaurant downstairs and lovely breakfast, nice outside area too with onsite parking,10 minute walk to the Market Square, 
would recommend it

2 night stay was very pleasant

Everything could have been perfect: the reception, the situation, the quality of the bed, the breakfast... but there is a big flaw: the noise!! between the knocking doors and the very isolated walls, my night was not the most pleasant.

Well-located and impeccably welcoming

This hotel was everything we were looking for in Bruges for our short stay. It had free off road parking, included breakfast and was a short distance from the square. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely and our room was perfect for what we needed it for.
