No hot water and state of cleanliness at the health limit Ah if even a positive point the bedding but it was necessary to look for a positive point to find a positive point! Belgian room black, dark Lavabo broken No hot water Moist curtains Water infiltration to the shower Dust on the toilet lustre But where was the cleaning service!!!!! Design is not the key to a successful night but to know how to welcome and care for the cleanliness of the rooms fair part of the waiting list Weekend of Valentine's charges spoiled thanks to you!

Shame on you!

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Grand Place. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing that I found off was that there was no shower in my room, only bath. But that was not hotels fault, I probably should have look in to it better. Had a breakfast which was ok, but a bit expensive 30€. 

Nice hotel 

After going to Jean Phi's Bistrot, we wanted to taste the gastro, apparently for lunch during the week there is only the lunch formula: entrance, plate, dessert +2 put in the mouth.

In a week.

For my birthday, I had booked the Belgian room and above all the 5 services meal (with the right wines). From the mouth to the dessert, everything was absolutely perfect. What excellent, often unexpected things (the spaghetti-carbonara revisited, for example)! And the wines (7 glasses in total: 2 kinds of white, one red and one butter for the dessert) perfectly in harmony.

If there is a culinary paradise, it's called I COOK.

We had booked the night of 24 May for the doughnut. The establishment was closed when we received confirmation from Booking. We tried to contact the establishment by phone several times without success. We sent an email via Booking and through the B&B website itself and to this day (4 days later), we have not received a reply.

The school was closed when we arrived.

We had stayed at Jean Philippe's so we could eat at his house without having to go on the road after dinner. The rooms are modern and newly renovated. We had the Belgian room. Unfortunately, several flaws that are easy to repair... The room is too dark (with black walls, that's normal) It's impossible to read in his bed so the lights are so weak. Cleanliness leaves to be desired. The gorgeous Italian shower looks clogged with hair? The dish with the coffee capsules was dirty. It lacks a good cleaning team. It's a shame because the transformations have had to be expensive... and the price of the room is not cheap...

you can do better

...we had reserved the meal with the room... a meal without regrets... the room... hem... blows in the wall, almost non-existent finishes, poorly painted walls (painted obviously after putting mirrors), damaged sheets (water damage???), uncleaned toilets (stained at the water's edge, stains whose origin it is better to ignore... they have not been made for a few days because spider webs in the INFERREE corners, unwashed garbage with used sanitary towels in particular), wire drawn on an end dragging under the bed, fixed lustre, unwashed bathroom (a curtain is shot around the bathtub), stain rather... come on, but don't eat chif!!!

Extra meals, juicy... but

It is a nice hotel but for 160 euro per night breakfast included this hotel is way overpriced for Mons. We are not in Paris where this would be an average price. 20 euro breakfast for bread and eggs - even without ham or cheese- is too much. Room is nice and friendly staff but overpriced. 

Nice but too expensive for the quality

We booked a room because we ate dinner at the I Cook. What a disappointment when you compare the restaurant to the bedroom. The room should be improved: damaged walls, uncomfortable bathroom, damaged curtains, lights that don't work properly...For a gastro, the rooms should be improved!!!! The bed is impeccable and the breakfast delicious!

Disappointment

Don't get me wrong, it is nice and innovative. The bed stands in the middle of the room and the bathroom is opened in the bedroom. nice idea. BUT the entire room including the ceiling is painted black so you basically can't see a thing. the lighting is not enough and as one spotlight was gone and another right above the sinks was intermittently working it was impossible to put make up on for instance. they did think of an extra portable electric mirror except the battery was flat so I couldn't use it. There was a lot of dust on the mock luggage wardrobe and cob web on practically all the lights. We didnt have breakfast as the cost was prohibited at £18 which is a four stars price which this most definitely isn't. There is a restaurant which we didn't try. If you want to eat in town you need a car as it is on a main road and not central. They do however have very good mattress which is always a problem for me as a back sufferer. I slept very well.
