Thie hotel is out on a limb on Lake Titicaca, I think you would only come here if you are visiting the floating islands.  The hotel is tired and understaffed, apparently, there are issues getting staff.  Saying that, our room looked as though it had been refurbished and was comfortable.  The bathroom was most probably the next project in the refurbishment, as it was very dated.  The rooms were clean and the furnishings of a good standard, the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was an interesting affair, but really tasty and great if you enjoy eggs.

The staff were friendly, helpful and trying to provide a good stay.

The hydrofoils leave a lot to be desired, the one we went out on nearly didn’t make it back due to an engine issue!!

5th Stop, Lake Titicaca

The staff at the front desk and in the dining room are very friendly, although they do not speak English much.  The hotel property is very tired and in need of major investments.  We were on the first floor of the "new" tower.  The elevator was broken, so we had to climb 28 steps in the thin air to get to the room.  There was basically nothing on the walls, just bare beige, and with a lot of dirt smudges.  The bathroom tiles have many cracks, and the hair dryer kept cutting out.  The curtains could not be closed because the mechanism was broken.  Wifi is available, but only outside and in the common space of the lobby and dining room, not in the rooms.  The restaurant has a small, basic menu. 
 The food was adequate, and the bread was very crispy and good.  One electric blanket worked, and the other was stone cold.  The property has several small museums, which were worth visiting, and the property is directly on Lake Titicaca.  But the many problems of an old and not well maintained property override those few bright spots.  This was probably the worst hotel we stayed at in two weeks traveling around Bolivia.

The best one can say is the staff are friendly.  The hotel itself is very tired.

We stayed in 5 hotels while we were in Bolivia.  This was by far the worst.  The only reason to stay here is access to their hydrofoil excursions and the museums on property.  The staff are friendly and try to be accommodating. The rooms are dated and rustic.  The beds are tired and squeaky.  The heating is marginal at best…there are at least electric blankets to keep you warm.

Pretty Dreadful,  Even by Bolivian Standards

Given that the tourist industry is still recovering, it's a bit hard to rate the hotel - we were the only ones there!  However, the owner's son was a gracious host along with our guide and the steak was exceptionally good.  Otherwise it's a very basic and a bit tired.
However - the museums and the effort put into them are exceptional.  the Kallawaya in particular is as good as any museum we've been to in south america - something they are justifiably proud of and a special end to our Lake trip.

The view from the hotel is the best, excellent care, the food in the restaurant is delicious, although there should be more varieties (vegetarian and vegan options), impeccable cleanliness, comfortable rooms, although the wi-fi service was not well covered.

 Hermosa vista

The hotel is on the shore of Lake Titicaca, maybe it's the only thing. A fireplace welcomes us into the hall. The rooms are clean but the sanitation is not at the top. We ate at the restaurant, the trout obviously, it wasn't the best, but... to be sure, next to the hotel, there was a plain air exhibition of torched houses and the construction of a reed boat.

Good location

El Inca Utama is located on the shores of Lake Titicaca and is an excellent hotel, with good rooms, costumbrist museums and good cuisine.

Excellent option in the Lake Titicaca.

Huatajata is an attempted seaside resort on the shores of Lake Titicaca, a convenient stop between the mountain range and Copacabana. Inca Utama is a large modern, international-class hotel, somewhat impersonal but comfortable.

Big modern hotel

The only reason for staying at this hotel is to visit the small museums that are part of the hotel complex.
Altiplano museum, typical houses, llamas, alpacas, totora items, including an original boat that crossed the Atlantic
For me the most interesting was the visit to the astronomical observatory.

The hotel is old fashioned and basic.
Rooms are in a small tower outside the main building and have great views of Lake Titicaca.
The room has heaters, electric blankets, with large bathroom.
Our room was very hot.

Dinner and breakfast have a very limited offer.

All the staff were very attentive

The South American tour company booked us into this hotel for the night. It was totally unacceptable given the price we paid for this trip. The halls were dingy with no lightning. The twin mattress appeared to be nicely made but pulling the blanket back revealed long dark hairs, which I also found in the bathtub. The room was not heated and it was quite cold during our visit. I guess the electric blanket was supposed to heat the room. 

The carpet in the room and the hallway was filthy dirty and the rooms smelled musty.  As an American traveler I may have different standards but I could not recommend this hotel.
