We stayed 10 days, 15 minutes to the center, 20 minutes to the sea, we cleaned the room every day, we liked it, the staff was friendly, there were many cafes nearby, and Burgas is a beautiful city, and there's a place to walk and take pictures.

It's a good, cheap hotel.

A normal hotel for one night or just to rest between departures. Spent a few hours before departure. A large room with a paid mini bar. A window on the roof of a restaurant. The glass has long been unwashed. The bathroom leaves the best to be desired - a rusty side and the complete absence of curtains or glass, all the water leaks to the floor. Very uncomfortable shampoos in the bags - wet hand is problematic to open.

For one night, that's fine.

This is very old hotel. Definitely I do not recommend to stay for long there... The bed is terribly uncomfortable. The conditioning was NOT working. The bathroom was not very clean.

The parking is underground but entering with a car is tricky. The breakfast was OK and tasty.
The hotel has 3* but I can rate it as 1* (hostel).

My stay

Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, nice hotel interior, good location, within a walking distance to the beach and the city center, very good breakfast in pleasant, nice restaurant with food items of very good or excellent quality.

Minus  -some shower facilities could be upgraded (didn't have shower gel).

Overall - very good value for money, we'll be glad to stay there again.

Very smart choice to spend a few days in Burgas

I found myself well in this hotel in Burgas. On the one hand you can reach the beach in 5-10 minutes, on the other the pedestrian centre. The room was really large, spacious and comfortable, with a minibar. The breakfast was limited, with nothing sweet. The staff are polite in responding to requests, however a little serious and not particularly hot. I paid 29 euros a night.

It is convenient.

Clean room, very friendly staff from reception to cleaning service. Very close to sea, also short walking distance to pedestrian roads.Hotel restaurant offers delicious food.We had wonderful time thanks to helpful staff.

Excellent hospitality

It's an ideal location between the city centre and the sea. About 2km from the train/bus station. Clean and cozy hotel. Too bad the people at the breakfast bar don't speak English and it's hard to understand.

Ideally situated about five-ten minutes casual walk from the excellent sandy beach or from the magnificent pedestrian precinct.
All of the receptionists spoke reasonable English and were extremely helpful.
Room was spacious and spotless.
Continental breakfast included in price was varied and fresh.
At £27 per night it was 'spot on'.

Ideal position between beach and town centre

I had to organize 2-nights accommodation for my family of four. The first place, in alphabetical order, with free rooms was Atagen hotel. Reservation by phone was ok. I should admit that I didn't had time to browse for review before ahead so me and my family reached the hotel at 23:30 h in a Friday night. We were sent out to an "apartment" that was poisoned from aromatizers and there was only 1 window that could barely be open. If you are allergic person, as I am, this causes you hard times to breath in a seconds... The place had 1 king size bed   and a sofa that was planned to accommodate my 2 grown children, if it was prepared to... We requested change of the room and were finally accommodated in a less odour one but still we had to ask someone to come and help with unfolding the sofa for my children. In addition I had to go back in the midnight to grab some sheets from the first room on different floor in order to prepare the sofa-bed by myself. The hotel is on a busy boulevard and sleeping is not easy due to the noise. The breakfast was simple but nice even though it starts late and we did not had enough time to enjoy it. I will no go back there again. I was really hoping to enjoy Burgas for a short weekend but my impressions from Atagen made me leave the town as early as possible in the morning after my arrival and I will no go there again.
