The room was clean but the bathroom is very small, without shower cabin. The breakfast was good. The view of the lake was beautiful. The staff was very nice, even if they couldn't give us a room with balcony.

Weekend trip

The closest you can get next to the water of the Kardzhali dam lake. It's a great place to just relax (they have a pool, so you can be lazy drinking their homemade lemonade) or have it as a resting place to visit nearby landmarks (there are plenty of those, too). The hosts are very friendly and run the place themselves -- you can always ask them about what to visit next. The breakfast is rich, the fish is delicious -- I definitely recommend this place!

Hidden gem!

The picture in booking and website are not true. There isn’t no real view. The pool is cold, 1,80 meter and is not for children. The pool is on street. A couldn’t describe the smell it is terrible place and the picture are big fouls. 

Terrible 

Everything here was on point. The staff were very friendly and willing to help us and gave us useful advice as to what to see in the area.The food was delicious and the atmosphere relaxing, close to nature with so many things to do. The pool is also great. Overall, we had an amazing experience.

Amazing place

Very nice family hotel, clean and cozy rooms, friendly attitude, delicious food and amazing views(especially from my hotel room:). Perfect place for a weekend and not on a big price. If you like you can have a boat trip and some fishing in the lake or you can just swim in the hotel pool. We couldn't manage to do all that for three days, but will visit them again !

 

Good place for relax !

I have booked 2 nights stay in St. Konstantin hotel with a balcony view (which was described in the reservation, also I called the property to receive a confirmation from them about that). When arrived there our room was on the parter and our balcony view was to the parking. When I asked the man who was in charge about the reservation /and maybe the owner of the hotel/ he refused to change our room so we wanted our money back but he refused that too. Told us to leave the room and locked the hotel... 
I am totally disappointed by this behaviour and the fact we lost our money for nothing!!!

Awful behavior

It's a cozy family hotel with a good infrastructure, comfortable rooms, a decent restaurant, a wide view of the lake, a parking lot, and a nice place.

Clean and cosy hotel with a magnificent view. Few kilometers from Kardzhali. Dam lake in front of the hotel. Possibility to have a boat trip or to spend the day fishing. Recommended for a short stay..

Splendid trip

It was a trip with my girlfriend and we are very satisfied with the conditions and attitude in this hotel. The owners are very kind people who can tell you a lot of stories for this region and navigate you to the most famous landmarks nearby. Pretty nice room facilities, big outdoor pool and great staff. There is also spectacular lake view.

We stayed two nights. The hotel is in a nice location on the lake and has a good restaurant that serves lake fish. The small pool is nice. As for the hotel, it's a very familiar drive, but in two days someone would have to come into the room at least to pick up the beds. Also, the lack of a curtain at the shower corner makes the entire bathroom flood whenever you wash. As for the restaurant, the quality of the food is excellent, but the service is approximate. We had ordered both my wife and I the same size, but mine was forgotten, so I was served only after the others had finished the desserts. And, more serious, in all this time, no one felt the need to come at least to the toilet to finish the dessert.
