The Lotus Hotel, which is part of the Riviera Hotel complex, has a beautiful, well-maintained, and mainly closed complex for non-resting visitors, which is the main advantage. This is why there are always free spaces on the beach in high season and at sea as well as relatively few swimmers. The Lotus Hotel itself has a better location in the complex. The biggest advantage is that the hotel has all the rooms with sea views. The rooms are spacious, the cleaning is normal, everything is working properly.

The first time was in 2016, and now it's the second time at this hotel, and I have to admit, it's been worse than anywhere else, terrible food, fried fish, and today they've served a whole lot of sour beans for breakfast, and the staff is all fucked up, the rooms are cleaned badly, and there's no foot in this hotel anymore.

It's not four stars!

I was in Lotus in August 2018 for the second time, so I knew all the conditions perfectly. My opinion is that it is the best option for relaxation. For those who have the most important thing is silence and tranquility, where even the children on the beach do not make noise. No comments on the comfort of the room (it was on the 1st floor), on cleaning and other maintenance. The staff is well trained, attentive and friendly. The only thing I agree with is that many holidaymakers would like to have a free dinner.

The hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

We'll start with the pluses: air conditioning, shower, parking... the room's dirty, the web conditioner, a very small room, for 4 x people, only 3 towels.

The price doesn't match the quality!

A peaceful place ideal for family holidays. Wonderful resort and hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that there were free sun loungers and umbrellas, although the reservation had stated that they are not included in the price.

Staff is qualificated and have a perfect Food.
Staff in reception know many languages.
Animation team is the best.
Every day cleaning the room.

Perfekt place

The Hotel Lotos was well worth the money, as it provided me with tranquillity and luxury. It is located in the southern part of Golden Sands within an area of forest, the hotel used to be part of the summer residence of the Bulgarian Government in the 1960s to 1980s. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it has a private beach for the use of the guests, with the provision of Sun Lounges and parasols being free of charge. The free use of the Sun Lounges by the hotel's guests helps in the long run to save both time and money. As regards the food served at the hotel's dinning room, both at breakfast and Evening meals was of the highest quality and would appeal to European tastes. The room in which I resided during my seven nights' stay, was luxury personified. I found that room was really large and comfortable, and the balcony area was very spacious indeed. This was actually the first ever occasion, that I ever got access to a sea view from a hotel room. The room had all the amenities one would expect, a multi-channel television, a mini-bar, a room safe and, a well planned out and clean bathroom. Speaking of the location, the hotel is ideally situated away from the noise of the Golden Sands resort, but the centre of the resort is in easy reach of about 10 minutes. Going to Varna is strait forward as the main bus stop is located just outside the Rivera Complex (of which the Lotos Hotel is a part of) A one way ticket to Varna is just 3 Leva. The majority of the guests came from Russia, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania and other European countries, there were no British guests, apart from myself. This did not prove to be a problem for me, as I have a rudimentary understanding of those languages. I had no issues in connection with for the mini-bar,as I was not overcharged by the hotel for the use of it, and only for what I had consumed. The receptionist named Sonia was efficient and helpful (as well being extremely beautiful) in making transit from the hotel to the airport as smooth as possible. All credit to Balkan Holidays for having my airport transport arrived early. The only complaints I would make was that the room safe was difficult to operate and had no clear instructions, and on the trivial side, the room television set did not have Planeta  Music TV channel  in its channel selection (watching Planeta TV is all part of the Bulgaria Travel experience). Overall a ten out of ten for high quality accommodation and excellent location, plus some outstanding staff. Highly recommend for any stay in Golden Sands or the Varna area!!

Lotos Hotel, the Best Hotel On The Bulgarian Black Sea Coast

The hotel is located in a protected enclosed area of the Riviera Holiday Club 100 meters from the clean sandy beach. There is a paid bar. The cocktail map of the complex is convenient, but the barman Miroslavat can easily cook coffee and drink to your taste. The rooms are very comfortable and comfortable, but the bar is very modern, with new equipment. There is no animation and no loud music. The shelving and umbrellas are enough to accommodate all guests at the pool or on the beach.

Comfortable rest in a quiet place

We had a wonderful vacation and were pleasantly surprised by the fact that the reception manager spoke French - Mr. Stephane Dimitrov. A great welcome and friendly and young staff. A hotel that is in need of renovation but its rooms with a sea view, and a beach just outside the hotel is a wonder. The famous Golden Stables right next to the Riviera complex is generally known for its crazy and noisy nights can't be heard at the Riviera Park which is very pleasant. The reception has directed us to very friendly places to visit that are only accessible by car. So a tip to give - if you don't have any staff, at one time in Varna, let's go to the city and congratulate the team on the next road trip.
