It's a beautiful place on the island. The people here are very friendly and hospitable. In the restaurant you eat very well. I can only recommend the fried tin fish according to Khmer recipe! Unfortunately, the island is bought by Chinese investors, which has led to the fact that sometimes the first smaller resorts had to close to make room for large hotel complexes that are being built. But the little bungalows are absolutely romantic and beautiful!

Bungalows as in paradise

Not at my first visit here and it seems the charm is the same. The rooms are ok only a few meters from the best beach on the island.
Plenty options for food and drinks at reasonable prices on a super cosy terrace with sea view. I suggest booking an A/C room.
I will be back for sure 

Great as always 

Expensive beach bungalows. Plastic pollution from the main land is a major pelroblem and there are no sewage treatment plants so everything is being dumped behind the beach  hotels or into the water. The dirtiest tropical beach I have stayed on. Go to Koh Rong instead. 

Dirty beach spoils stay.

Very warm accommodation, beautiful views of the Gulf of Thailand, more than adequate accommodation and an excellent restaurant, rich dishes. Four star hotels because after the island's redemption, few hotels have withstood its destruction. There are very few activities around the hotel, a three-day stay is largely enough unfortunately.

Almost to Paradise

We booked here for 16 nights. People stay here for 5 nights, it's visible when travelers leave. A luxury villa, as they say! The household is done on demand only... no hot water for the shower because only the first row villas have it... The first row in the second row has it. We have no house in front of us, clear sea view. So we're in the first row! We paid $1170 for the stay and are not satisfied at all. The restaurant is poor, service extremely slow and poor products too. No fresh mangoes... at 300 m they sell some! I'm usually rather positive and conciliatory but when I'm a placeholder, rather than talking and looking for a solution, I'm thinking of you, you're really green, I'm almost ashamed of the poor treatment of this establishment, and I'm still in this situation, I'm almost ashamed of the lack of customer service, and I'm almost ashamed of the whole of this establishment.

Loved our stay! The food was delicious! Great to get water fill ups. All great value for money. Villa was basic and the AC worked fine and it suited us just right. I did have a very old towel with holes in it on arrival but when i asked for a new one they soon brought me one quickly. I would really love to stay again!

The positive points: - Good quality cuisine - The kindness of the restaurant servers - The resting place in front of the bungalow The negative points: - We had booked a stay of 2 weeks at $810 more than 3 months ago by defining as the essential criterion that we absolutely wanted a bungalow located in a quiet place at the Resort, which was confirmed to us immediately. One day before our arrival we asked for confirmation of this point again, which was validated again. After our first two days of stay we were invaded by a group of 4 bungalows located in front of the Resort. This group, composed of very poorly educated and well-oriented people, shouted that nothing at all had happened to the manager of the resort to communicate with us, but that after the last day, the hotel staff of our hotel, who were not aware of the situation, could not make a very good pass on this bungalow.

The manager doesn't keep his commitments.

Perfect for everyone looking for peace and a nice clean facility. The bungalows are simple but clean with a comfortable bed and bathroom with rain showers. The restaurant offers very delicious food and a great quality, everything is fresh and lovingly prepared. The staff always have a smile and are very helpful. Whoever has a problem with geckos in the room is wrong in Southeast Asia - these belong to it and bring happiness by eating mosquitoes and spiders.

One of the most beautiful sites on the island

1. CHEK IN. You will probably need a whole eternity for someone to help you. Anyway you will put your name and data by yourself. They are simply too much busy, there is no a person responsible for the reception. 
 2. FIRST LOOK. The first thing I noticed was that our bungalow was about 600 meters away from the reception. Thought they saw wounds on my husband’s leg and how painful it was to walk, they have decided to send us so far. By the way, many of the bungalows much closer were empty.
 3. THE ROOM. When I booked the hotel I chose a room with one twin bed and WiFi. We had some plans for a celebration and needed enough space in the room that was shown on pictures and descriptions of their Booking.com profile. And of course I need WiFi because I was waiting for calls from my relatives and friends, the normal mobile data didn’t work including the whole connection. I booked a room with one twin bed and WiFi. When we opened the door of our bungalow I saw two beds and a tiny space between them to get to the bathroom. I asked them to change the bungalow because this was not what I booked and the answer was “we don’t have other rooms, all the rooms are with two beds”. After that the guy disappeared. In a minute we noticed that we don’t have connection on the phone and don’t have WiFi. 
 4. THE STUFF. After a few minutes of shock I Immediately went back to the reception to cancel our stay and refund my money back. The girl with a happy face said that they can’t do anything and my money can’t be returned. What was also surprising is that none of the stuff wore a mask, they even didn’t have it.
 5. CONDITIONS. Couple more words about the room. In the corners between walls and the roof were some space that you can easily meet different unexpected roommates such as slimes, lizards, spiders or even snakes. The anti mosquito nets on the bed were also full of holes and absolutely useless. By the way the roof had a huge hole and it was very funny to stay there during the rain at night. 
I DON’T RECOMMEND YOU TO STAY IN THIS TERRIBLE PLACE.

My birthday holiday turned into a torture

Great island, Greta location. Great set up, The owner Rudi is great. But his german sri lankan manager girl is a horrid nightmare, They call her Eva Braun on the island, The beach in front of the island is the best on the island, The restaurant is great and so is the food and most of the staff, All spoilt by the nasty attitude of that girl who is in love with herself. No customer service skills. Walks around pouting. Fool
