Yes the motel was under renovations, but this room should never have been rented out.  Yes it was close to everything including restaurants.  Easy to get to from main highway.  Area was good.  Review.

Terrible experience

Actually, the whole motel was supposed to be demolished. Unfortunately, we were fooled by the pictures. The hotel's very bad condition, the rooms look terrible and actually ridiculous. It's dirty even for a good time. In short, it's more than accommodated and for that price, it's actually cheap. Whoever has the chance to take another motel, take it!

A hint of a break-up.

Nice staff.. but the place
It’s self is in need of a massive upgrade.
No bed spreads on the bed.. on pillow was not clean. Don’t turn on the ceiling fan.. if you can it’s filthy. The bathroom if nasty… complete with dirty bathtub. To top it off ..
Cockroaches ..

Not the best choice

I booked this hotel because of its approximately to the event I was attending.  For the price I paid, I wasn't expecting much.  But was I in for a surprise......!  My room was immaculate clean, with not only microwave & fridge but also a couch, table &  2 chairs plus a large work table.  Did I mention that the bed was extremely comfortable?  My whole experience was hassle-free........ from the friendly telephone reservation, ease of checking in & out.  I also noticed that the owners take a lot of pride in their property by keeping it in tip-top shape as much as possible.  Highly recommend to my friends and others.

Lot more than I expected!

We stayed her for three days.  Room was clean and looks to have been recently updated.  Room is of a good size, has queen bed, desk, dresser, sofa, fridge, microwave and table with two chairs.  Outside doesn't look the best but we had no problems.  Parking lot is small.

Price right

I had booked a room to rest during the day after a long flight and before taking the road that evening. Friendly and fast home, my English being not perfect (contrary to what it says on Booking.com, they don't speak French) I explained to the person that I would leave that evening at around 8pm, there were no problems. The room was large and clean, the bathroom was also there, a small coffee machine was there, it's always a little plus. This motel has a free parking lot and it's located 25 km from Halifax airport but it's out of the city centre, so as far as I knew it and it didn't matter to me. I'm giving my meals to a very young girl. So I'm leaving this very small establishment that deserves 5 stars.

Good address

This was a great stay I really enjoyed the coffee I have stayed all across Canada and miss Motel is the best coffee and face soap’s I have ever had the best part about this today was the first currently friendly girl at the front desk she was very warm and welcoming me and even helped me to get a room for the next night by calling my mother and verifying payment from her thank you so much not every front desk agent is like you and if I could stay there again I truly would thank you beautiful white girl

We stayed 3 nights in this motel.  The room was comfortable and clean and the staff friendly.  Basic room with TV, fridge and microwave.  It is a 15-minute drive to downtown Halifax and the highway ramp is quite convenient as well.  There are quite a lot of fast food restaurants in the neighbourhood including McDonald, Harvey's, Smitty's and Tim Horton.  Also a gas station across the street from the motel.  The laundry machine and dryer cost $2 each per load.

Comfortable and friendly!

We enjoyed our stay here very much.  We were there 8 out of 13 nights.  So very accommodating friendly and clean. Comfortable bed and bedding.    Very good location, laundry available, reasonable price.  Appears that property is gradually being improved. Common kitchen is somewhat shabby.    Should we go to the area again, we will definitely stay there again.  PS - Take your hair dryer

Very Pleasant Visit

A short drive to downtown Halifax abd many tourist sights. Th room was clean and feiendly. Had no issues. Will stay there again next visit. A Smitty's restaurant just around the corber. Two minute walk.
