If like me you stay there for work or think about finding rest and tranquility!!! Think twice before!! Positive points cleanliness and enchanting places!

It's a wall of cardboard!

By far the most charming, clean and friendly place we've ever stayed! Everytime we stay, I find more things to love about this place! The pride the owners have really shows. I would give it ALL the stars in the sky for a rating if I could! We've stayed here many times with our kids over the years. Just beautiful ❤️

Enroute to Ontario 

Nice reception, our room was spacious and empty, close to some really good restaurants and stuff, but the walls aren't thick, but it's still a nice place, very fast internet, we recommend.

Reasonable as a Place

We went to the Castel de la Mer for three nights in July 2023. We had a studio located on the ground floor equipped with a mini kitchenette and a King bed. A table, two chairs and an office filled the studio. The bathroom, meanwhile, was equipped with a shower. The +: cleanliness on the entire hotel complex and in the rooms, small refrigerator, luggage compartment, laminated floor as well as access to the Jardin du Castel which offers a rest area with B.B.Q and the possibility of playing pétanque. The Merchant Castle being located on the Rue Richelieu, it is easy to access the Little Havoix de l'Avoix Paul located opposite the Park of Charleau, the Charleau Casino and the other five projections located in the Place Charleau, the Charleau Museum, the Charleau Museum and the Charleau Museum, located in the centre of Charleau.

A pleasant stay

After 7 days in Gaspesie, we were stopping here on our way home. Glad we chose this place. Lovely reception and very clean. The receptionist gave us restaurant and activities recommendations. The room we had with two queen bed had comfortable mattresses, was extremely clean and sufficiently furnished. The room also had a view of the bay and opened to a shared patio with dining tables and a propane firepit. 

Highly recommend!

Comfortable and clean stay

The sea castle motel has the advantages of the motel (free parking, two floors only) and the hotel (clean room, daily cleaning). We were welcomed. It is well located between St. Paul's Bay and St. Catherine's Bay. You can go to restaurants (5 min) or the supermarket (10 min) on foot.

It's a good mix.

We enjoyed our two-night stay (3-5 July) at Castel De La Mer, very nice room (without carpet), cleanliness is at the appointment! We had: refrigerator, microwave, patio, outdoor balcony with table and chair to look at the view. We went for a hike to the Acropolis Du Draveur with my husband, and enjoyed the Café Chez Nous for lunch for the two days (buy the good blueberry and mustard jam/p). We had dinner at Prime Allegro, we really enjoyed it. Second night? Besto Local 245 the hotel table delighted us. Really an unforgettable stay. Thanks for the welcome back to the hotel.

Very well situated near all restaurants and Casino The hotel is spotless clean well maintained many little extra like a fridge with a freezer milk in the fridge and cream,beds very comfortable modern style furniture's ikea style the service is great we will return.

Great find

We went to the Castel de la Mar for 3 nights in September 2022. This establishment offers 48 rooms spread over 2 floors: regular rooms, studios, upper studios and rooms with river views. We were in a studio located on the ground floor. Our unit was suitable for people with reduced mobility, which is why the bathroom is larger and the kitchenette is smaller. We find a floating floor instead of the shower. Studio room: floating floor, a large bed with comfortable mattresses and pillows, a large desk, a small table, 2 chairs, a small terrace T.V, a small kitchen with a large refrigerator, a small oven and windows. Accommodation for 3 nights

This motel hotel is well located and very clean. We were located in a secluded area on the first floor, room 115. Easy access through the patio door and the possibility of sitting outside on a small terrace directly in front of the patio door. The downside lies in the fact that we heard the tourists walking to the ceiling who lived there from 5:30 the next morning. These were on the second floor. Professional staff.
