This is a welcoming motel in a very nice setting.  The owners (a family) are very friendly and sweet.  They did all they could to accommodate any requests.  We felt safe and peaceful here.  The rooms are very compact.  Rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. It is an older model motel, but there is no mold smell or mold growth seen anywhere.  We would happily stay there again.

We went at the end of July it was hot very hot no air conditioning  we had rented the cottage  and  the bathroom  when Taking a shower it would run all over the floor tiles moving and grout sticking on your feet and when trying to wipe yellow dirty water it was disgusting and the bedroom downstairs trailer parc in your window ok it's not a 5 star hotel but one thing I could say it is not worth it it's sleezy they accommodate you with a dangerous bbq they never tried to fix the water trouble just gives us grayish towel to sponged it never again and did not even give us a refund or rebate just if you come back a free night it's a real jokes they are very nice to you bit FOR A REASON.

What a deception

Love staying there, kids love it ,very friendly ,away from the busy nearby tourist traps . Stayed at the motel last 4years and will make a second trip in August. The unit we stayed in had plenty of room and a queen bed upstairs,loved it

Vacation

I did not like this place much it was not clean fridge was gross I found a weird smell in the cupboards.. No firepit and the bedroom just felt way to small.. I would not be back The old signs and junk still there on property water temp was not working... the bbq, was gross and it really was not a fair price for the property

Was not a fan

We had booked while on the road- I think we were the only Guests as it was just after high season. Owner was away and I presume her parents were looking after the property in her absence? English limited but so very sweet and welcoming. Had a little cabin by the water and it suited us perfectly. Nice and quiet, reasonable for price paid. Would stay again!

Quick stop en route to PEI

Perfect on the whole line, thanks to the owners for welcoming me so warmly! First of all, I had arrived alone and there was only a large two-story cabin with two beds, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a kitchen available. I think I paid about $120 a night, and they offered me free lunch every day since there was no longer a simple room and I was on a limited budget. At 6, the price would have been ridiculous! The place is very beautiful, very rustic but very comfortable cabins. The location with a beautiful bathroom, and there are BBQs at our family motel. The site was very convenient and relaxing, despite the fact that it was the best lunch in the festival between them.

Perfect all over the line, warm accommodation, very reasonable price and beautiful location.

We had booked a small cottage on two floors very well situated to visit several places, not too far from the new eco-space and Prince Edward Island and very close to Shediac. We had a small kitchen and the BBQ outside. It would have been nice to have an outdoor fireplace and the bed could have been more confo....attention mini bath so shower only except for a child.

The room is clean and well equipped. Bedroom is comfortable. (But bed is 54 inches) There are several free-service BBQs on the ground, near Picnic Tables. Wifi is almost non-existent... it runs once every 10 and is very slow. Attention, the rooms are numbered from road 133 (the 1 is the nearest). Traffic is heard a lot even at night on this passenger road. Finally, the hotel is located 10 km from Shediac.

Good value for money

The staff were beyond EXCELLENT...very friendly, very accommodating.
We stayed in one of the two bedroom cottage units...well laid out, very comfortable, cute and cozy.  
The location of the Waterfront Hotel was great for all our needs/ centrally located between Shediac and Cap Pele. 
GORGEOUS property: I really enjoyed being able to sit out on the decks and take in the gorgeous water views.

Cons:  While the room had plenty of towels, cooking utensils/dishes and bedding; there was only 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the cottage and a partial roll of paper towel.  I am sure the staff would have restocked the items for us but by the time we noticed this, it was late in the evening and there was no one in the office.

           The room could have used a more thorough cleaning before we arrived.  There was a great deal of dust throughout and we swept up enough sand to fill two dustpans.  

Would we stay again....Definitely: but I hope the room gets cleaned and stocked better before our next visit.

Peaceful/GREAT view

The advantage of this motel is that the owner himself sees to your comfort! If it were possible to give stars for the service, I would put several here... The charming English-speaking owner takes out his Sunday French to serve you and ignores the approximate English I serve him. Since I leave very early at the end of my stay, he installs everything necessary for lunch in a room adjacent to my room. I will definitely return there!
