Les Lofts 1048 was a very comfortable and convenient base for exploring this beautiful and fun city on foot. Specifically, Room 206 is beautiful, spacious, quiet and comfortable. We couldn't have wished for better.

Les Lofts 1048 is a wonderful location. A few minutes walk from Paillard, artisan boulanger pâtissier, where we had breakfast every day. Welcoming and fun restaurants like BEClub, Le Bedeau, Buvette Scott and L'Échaudé are within walking distance. The Tourist Bureau and Chateau Frontenac are a 10 minute walk. Le Ciel and the train station are short taxi rides away. Wonderful!

A very comfortable and convenient base for exploring beautiful Quebec city.

Clean and comfortable. Check in was easy though be aware the street it is on is closed to cars during the middle of the day. The closest place to park or be dropped off is about a block away. Lots of shopping and restaurants right outside. Our unit was just as pictured on the website. It is well equipped with dishes, pots, glasses, towels, hair dryer, soap etc but you do have to bring all of your own food supplies for cooking. All that is there is 4 Nespresso pods which were not enough for our 2 days/2 adults. The building was quiet and secure and a great base for exploring Old Quebec. 

Great location and comfortable

Les Lofts 1048 has some definite negatives. 
The AC is not strong enough to keep it cool upstairs where the bedroom is. It was actually uncomfortably warm sleeping at night. 
Communication is not great when there are issues. Our AC wasn't working when we arrived late afternoon so we immediately called the phone number. It wasn't until the next day sometime that someone came and we didn't hear back from the company until approx 40hrs later. 
There is no parking on site. 
There is nowhere to store your luggage if you arrive early or flight is later. 
Check in isn't until 4pm...period! 
There are no instructions how to lock the door upon leaving your loft. We had to fiddle around for quite some time trying to figure it out. We weren't the only ones having trouble. Our neighbours were trying to figure theirs out at the same time
The spiral staircase going up the staircase inside loft is very narrow. Little difficult to get suitcases up and down

It is aesthetically pleasing on main level
Overall, I don't think I would recommend this rental to my friends as it was just too uncomfortable sleeping with it being so warm upstairs


Definitely some negatives

The loft is very well located. That's the big advantage of staying there. It has a well equipped kitchen and that helps a lot during your stay. But the bed and especially the sofa bed are very worn out, without any comfort. Another thing that gets in the way is the lack of blackout curtains in the room. We stayed in the summer, at 5 AM it was already very light. At 6 AM it was very difficult to sleep in the room. I think this space could be better thought out

improvements needed

     This beautifully open loft apartment is the perfect location for a visit to Old Quebec City and the location is absolutely one of the best features. Enjoy delicate pastries or crepes in the morning, some good pub food and a pint of the local brew for lunch, and a decent steak with a good wine all within a 5 minute walk. As for sight seeing, the ramparts of the city wall, Petit Champlain (yet MORE shopping), Citadelle de Quebec, and Chateau Frontenac (a MUST see) are all 3 - 15 minutes away. 
     The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee pot and a Nespresso machine (bring extra pods if you use it much), so eating in is an easy option. There are plenty of large arched windows to brighten the place during the day, though there's not much of a view with buildings so close together in this part of town. The furniture is very comfortable as are the beds. The place comfortably sleeps 4, though climbing up to the loft area requires going up a ladder (no stairs). 
     We found the place neat, clean, and ready when we checked in a little after 5:00. Before you get check in information (door code, keys, etc), the company requires you to email ID and some form of security deposit around 24 hours ahead. You'll have to pay for parking, but Place D'Youville has a parking garage for about $20 CAD/day. Be aware that you may need to carry your things about a 3 minute walk from parking if the road in front of the apartment is closed for major events like the summer music festival in July.  
     Our family HIGHLY recommends this as a great place to stay.

Great place for 2-4 to stay near Old Quebec City

Although the apartment is somewhat narrow, everything has been designed to make it easier for the client. Clean dishes, clean refrigerator, soft bed, clean bathroom. Contact with the telephone station was very courteous and efficient. The location is ideal. In short, a nice place for couples looking for privacy.

Narrow but comfortable

Loft as beautiful as in the photos, clean (except the fridge). Bed and comfortable pillows. Well located, with a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Max 10 minutes to walk to Château Frontenac. Restaurant for lunch The crazy pig right next to the loft. A few memories to know: the superb big window lets the sound go through. So plan to hear partygoers on the street at the weekend. TV equipment that seems obsolete - DVD player that doesn't open, but cable posts are available.

It's perfect for a night.

Lovely spacious apartment in a brilliant location. We stayed a week and apartment was perfect for all the main sights. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Very well equipped accommodation also made it easy to self cater if needed. Hosts communication pre arrival and during stay was very good.

Perfect location and beautiful spacious accommodation

The space in loft number 206 is exceptional. Really a great loft and it is perfectly situated in the middle of the uptown tourist section. Right in the thick of it but you’ll hear none of that from the apartment. The space is very comfortable. 20 to 25 foot ceilings in the living space with massive windows. A full kitchen, really nice bathroom with a shower with strong water pressure, great TV with surround sound, comfortable couches, a home away from home. A year from now I would recommend it whole heartedly. Right now, However, those beautiful big windows look across a small alley to a building under construction and starting at seven in the morning on weekdays they’re working on the building and you see the workers right outside the  window- they look close enough to touch. I recommend staying on the other side of the building which would be rooms 201, 202,203. I would still choose this loft over any hotel room, even with the construction, because it is very comfortable, perfectly located, and we like extra space when we travel with the living room and kitchen. But be warned about the construction out the windows.  The management did send us an email the day before we came warning us about the construction. However it’s obvious the construction has been going on for months and they knew about it. Perhaps they didn’t want to tell us until the cancellation period had expired. The construction is the only reason that this is four stars and not five.

Perfect loft, perfect location, but currently the building next-door is under renovation.

We stayed there on the weekend of the National Day of Québec (Saint-Jean), apartment 206. Everything was almost perfect there! Small exceptions: the bathroom was blocked and the water was running very badly. Also, the Videotron cable seemed to be missing. After 30 minutes of listening to the news, the connection was suddenly lost! It never came back afterwards... Apart from these little inconveniences, we really liked this hotel and its location! Unstoppable as a place, close to everything! It's an experience to repeat! We left our car in the SPA-YOUVILLE Station, located 2-3 minutes from our hotel (about $25/day) The Vieux Québec is a beautiful place to discover and everything can be done on foot!
