We we're late getting into town and this was a last minute decision. This place is getting run down. thought we were getting a private bath but not the case. The only good thing I could say was they rented bikes .... but we were not looking to bike.

Cold reception, small room not very clean, clean sheets, smelly bed, shared bathroom with access to the neighbors' room....brrr. And what about breakfast... Here's a photo posted with a plendable fruit crepes, but the reality is another: forget the courtesy of the gites the care in the preparation of egg crepes fresh fruit bacon accompanied by steel syrup.

I wouldn't go back.

This is a cute and cozy old house with no modern amenities to speak of, with lovely wood floors, walls and ceilings and comfy old beds and an excellent location. It's on a main road however, so there was a lot of traffic until late at night, and again early in the morning.The website says "we speak your language" - not! The proprietor's English was worse than my French and when he realized we didn't speak French the welcome turned cold. The brochure says, "the breakfast will certainly charm you!" Well, if you like DIY! Cereals were front loops, Cheerios, sugar pops and corn flakes, there was a choice of several white breads, all in the fridge, tired looking fruit, and yogurt cups. A couple of cheese packages had almost nothing in them. A tea chest looked promising, until we opened it and found it also almost empty. Enough said. This BnB is definitely not on our list of places to return!

Biggest BnB disappointment ever!

We were the only room we rented, and unfortunately we were supposed to have a good lunch because there was a note on the flyer. Our lunch was going to be attractive. Outdated bread, coffee, peanut butter and caramel. No orange juice. I guess there must be better because there were boilers. But well, we paid the same price as in high season. No toilet paper in the bathroom and a quick welcome to ask for payment. We felt a little too much.

We slept very well, the place was clean but nothing more.

We stayed in this cottage one night only in September 2015; this cottage is neat and clean with a professional welcome but not very warm. The owner's husband did not dare to greet us when we arrived! This will be the only situation we will experience during our stay of 21 days. Breakfast is okay knowing that nothing is done at home. Everything is ready and you just have to serve yourself because in the morning there are no more owners in the cottage, who have definitely gone to work (they would have just informed us, we would not have been surprised....We do not recommend this cottage that is not very warm.

A sleeping quarters without interest

Very conveniently located on Route 132 near shops, restos, etc.... at the entrance of the city of Rivière-du-loup to the west. Bedroom decorated in a very simple but clean way. Possibility to prepare meals on site. Possibility d`use washer and dryer owners, very convenient. Service of rental bicycle on site and repair. 4 rooms available including two with common bathroom. A good lunch is served on the lorqu`l gallery is beautiful!

Well-located accommodation

This place used to be a presbitary. A really nice stay in an old surrounding, but very well maintained and decorated. We enjoyed the night as we slept well in a double bed. Close to everything. If we are back in the area, we will not hesitate to stay here again.

Back in time...

The room we had was simple with a sink in the room and a shared bathroom, very clean. The hosts, a father and son, were very helpful and made an awesome breakfast served on the balcony outside. I would be happy to come here again.

Really good breakfast

We stayed there one night and we had a very good experience. The B'n'B is well located, the owner was really nice and welcoming. The room was cute. The shared bathroom was clean, but its soundproofing could be improved! That's the only thing that can be less charming.
Excellent breakfast, served outside when the weather is nice, which is great! We will definitely stay there again.

A nice stay in a lovely place!

The landlords gave us a place in a simple but very clean room while we arrived late and without reservations.
