A large room with a refrigerator, a comfortable bathroom. A little past decoration, but not unpleasant. A clean and very nice reception from the owner. No breakfast. Room No. 6, is located on the ground floor against the stairs that go up to the first floor rooms.

Marina greeted us at reception and was very warm and friendly. Our room was on the second floor and looked onto the water. Room was large, clean and comfortable.
My favourite part was the view from the deck where we enjoyed a stunning sunset. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous view

We stayed 2 nights at the very charming Marina Hostel. Very clean, very comfortable bed and beautiful view of the river to admire the sunsets and sunrises. We would return without hesitation!!

Just perfect.

Spacious room and functional bathroom in a somewhat obsolete and dark setting. Everything is clean. There's a mini-ventilator, a small fridge that makes noise, a microwave. The headlights didn't light up enough to read. Unfortunately we had a room with a view of the sidewalk. So without the curtains closed, anyone passing by can look inside. Whoever said sidewalk said street, so the noise from 7:00 in the morning... the neighbors upstairs were a couple with a girl who ran until 10:00 in their room. So we hear everything that's going on upstairs and also at every drop of water drawn... the marina that welcomed us is very nice, but not always obvious to understand.

I'm a little disappointed.

Stayed two nights at this absolutely charming inn. Waterfront with great views - particularly nice sunsets. Spacious, clean room with a beautiful balcony for morning coffees. Easy walking distance to a fantastic bakery and a couple of really good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location!

What a wonderful stay! The place is perfect, the view is beautiful, the prices are very reasonable. And most of all the hospitality is incredible thanks to Marina. A huge thank you. I spent four days at the Hostel in a large upstairs room with direct views of the River. I felt so good that I extended my stay for one night. I highly recommend.

A heart attack for the Hostel and the reception (and the region)

We spent two days in August, it was full. The place was beautiful, the double room was huge and very clean. Marina, the person who takes care of the place and Fabien do everything they can to make your stay pleasant, if you miss anything they will do everything they can to get it for you as soon as possible. The hostel is located directly on the beach. The comfort of the bed and the pillows is unparalleled. In short, a place where I will return during my next round of waste and maybe for a longer stay this time.

Comfort, service and relaxation.

Stayed here for two nights in August.  We chose this location because it was within 40 minutes from the Gaspésie Park hiking trails.  Most of the rooms of this inn are seaside.  We booked one of the last rooms so we knew that ours would be street view. 

Our room was very large. As others have mentioned, the decor is absolutely charming.  Not your typical hotel room!  Our room was immaculate.  Initially we worried that we would have sleepless nightS due to the noise of cars passing within 4’ from our room, but to our surprise this wasn’t the case.  Once the windows were closed, our room proved to be quite soundproof.  There is no A/C but there was a little fan in the room.

We loved sitting on the Adirondak chairs, reading our books, listening to the seagulls and watching the sunset.  We also enjoyed eating our breakfast at the picnic tables facing the beautiful scenery.  The only reason that we did not give this place five stars is because the air circulation in our room wasn’t great (perhaps a ceiling fan would help).  We will definitely be back but will make sure to book months ahead of time so that we get a room with a view!

Charming

Very large, very well decorated upstairs room with stunning sunset views over the Saint Laurent- large bathroom with a large shower- small living room in the bedroom- three good bedding - good heating (it was quite cold that night)

Large room decorated in modern Quebec-chic. 2 beds, 2 comfy wingback chairs, sublime river view, patio doors directly out to riverside (with 2 Adirondack chairs). Riverwalk park next door. Very friendly service. Large bathroom with over-size sit-inshower stall. What's not to like?
