I stayed one night, travelling solo. The owners were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean.  Very quiet area of Stratford. It’s a 20 minute walk to the theatre which I felt comfortable doing both to and from the theatre. 

The negative reviews had me nervous. No need. 

Absolutely fine!

Our room was worn, but adequate. That’s probably an apt description of this place. If you’re looking to spend a night or two and you’re not particular it’s okay. 
If you’re put off by flea-market decor and a less than fastidious approach to cleanliness best look elsewhere. 

It’s okay

I have to be honest when I pulled up to the motel I was like, "Bates Motel". I couldn't be more wrong. The family who owns the motel are very friendly and live on the property. I reserved a queen room. The room was huge. Two queen beds, bathroom, 32" tv, fridge microwave and free wifi. Being located on the main road coming into Stratford the rooms are back away from the road so it is very quiet. The courtyard had two huge trees that were so fragrant. If you have children there is a lot of room for them to run in the grass. I only have 2 slight negative points.  The room does need slight touching up cosmetically. Nothing major. Free breakfast; I left at 6:50 a.m. and when I went to hand in my key the office wasn't yet open. I rang the bell and the lady came to their house door (attached). I gave her the key and she bid me a safe travel. I thought ok I guess breakfast is only available later. I don't usually eat breakie away.  Overall, nice experience.

Don't Judge a Book by its Cover!

We took a last-minute trip to Stratford and few hotels were available.  AC did not work in first unit; we were quickly moved to another.  Rooms are fairly clean, but have a musty smell and surfaces (counters, furniture, etc.) need to be wiped.  Furnishings and decorating are tired; the place needs thorough cleaning and updating.  Offered "light breakfast" is cereal, store bought rolls, and coffee; we skipped it.

1950's Style Motor Court Hotel

Do not go here if you like the big chain impersonal service you get at the big chain. At Rosecourt Motel you get real people who care about their business and their clientele. The accommodation we had was clean, comfortable, quiet and met our needs including our budget needs. We were in town to see some plays and the cost of those was higher than the room cost so we had to save somewhere. Thanks to the Rosemount we made it inside the budget. We felt safe and secure in the area and will definitely go there again. Only down side was the internet signal could use a bit of a boost.
