I was with my family after paying almost USD$1,000 a night, and I run into the owner to tell him a comment..at the end i joked saying the clients is "always right"..He said in a very bad manner. NEVER!
Can you tell me what kind of owner said that to a client who is lodging there his family,  after tourism has been stopped in Chile for almost 2 years?? This arrogant guy was unreal. The place is run down and not up to standards for those high prices. The river is contaminated with Didymo this days and has been damage for world class fly fishing so the owner should be more carful with his comments.

I will highly recommend Barraco Lodge, also accesible ny water and near by, where we also stayed, they were friendly, same price, and much cozier, classier and not at a large scale like Mitico

Owner was insulting and arrogant

The scenery is wonderful, along with the Taguagua Park. The service that is delivered to the customer is excellent, from the maintenance of the land, the cleaning of the hotel, the attention to the visitor when attending and the delicious menu offered; however, the basic conditions for the safety and well-being of the worker are not met in their different jobs.

The mythical Puelo has everything to make your visit unforgettable.It is in an incredible setting, full of things to do, but also the quality and hospitality of the hotel is unparalleled.Mention aside the chef, who makes the experience, in addition, transform into a top-notch culinary experience.Any restaurant in Santiago would like to have a chef of that quality.No doubt an impressive place.

Incredible place and cuisine.

I hesitated between  mediocre  and  medium  because this place has undeniable advantages. But finally the mediocre advantage. Let's start off with the positive points: the place is out of order: inaccessible otherwise than by boat is really one end of the world, stuck between a little-known and therefore unpopular lake, Lake Tawa Tawa, and a mountain difficult to get into, opposite to an equally unknown private park. But then the poor place might be the ideal place to refresh ourselves. The wood building, built in the 1990s by an American rider, begins to be a little refreshed from the outside, but the young family is really enjoying the hot place, with all of that wood, but we are not getting to the outside. The problem is that before we get to the inside, the big house is busy enough: then we start the breakfast, then we leave the lodge, but the hotel, and then we have the opportunity to show our guests, who will be in the hotel, and then we have a two-hour, two-hour, two-hour, two-hour, two

A rather strange place.

We had an extraordinary time, the place is magical and lush in beauty. We arrived from Llanada Grande to Puerto Maldonado to take the boat that would take us to the hotel. The attention was totally familiar, the extraordinary food, well thought out and definitely tasty, thanks to the chef they have hired. The hotel has all the amenities and services needed to spend a really magical few days, a hot tub of water for 6 people, a pool, pool table and ping pong, a great living and sitting to rest. Various activities for the morning or the day doing trecking, etc. The pieces although not modern, are extremely comfortable, good bed, good pillows, rich plum, good heating and good bathroom.

Fascinating and fascinating.

First, we were scouted by boat and traveled between mountains full of forests, with snowy peaks. We arrived at a wonderful lodge, made of wood and stone, spacious, with fireplace and central heating more dryer than shoes. It has a lakefront and a park with different trails and difficulties, several waterfalls, caves and rivers and streams. More endless wildlife. Very good food, wines and attention. 1000% recommended.

It's incredible.

For a long time we wanted to know the Puelo area in the X region of Chile and we met this impressive place, I only have words to thank for the tremendous gift of having discovered this place, Tagua Tagua itself is a wonder of nature, and the hotel has made and manages to make the attention and facilities 100% complementary to being there admiring that wonder.

My family and I had three children and it had never really happened to us that the food was unattainable, every day small and bad soup, with no choice. The desserts were a type of flan that changed the flavor every day. We were really hungry. They never offered us anything different as an alternative, no service arrangement. The table was not always set and the lights in our sector were bad, we had to order a lamp. The walks with the hotel guide are very good. But for the price I don't recommend it, very expensive. The place is incredible.

Before I write my opinion, I must make it clear that I am a frequent traveler visiting different lodges in Chilean Patagonia, Mitico puelo generates great expectations in me, I arrive at Lake Tagua Tagua a place I have known for years waiting and had to wait an hour at the dockside while the boat arrived to pick us up, I had previously confirmed my arrival time, once we arrived at the hotel we ate a poor menu, of little variety, which was repeated throughout the week, the rooms were old notes and if there was a lack of maintenance, the walls were covered with a kind of aspillera, they had spots of mushrooms and moisture, the room was full of my daughters, the smell was unbearable... I decided to suspend my stay at the hotel before I knew the date of my return, but I can't wait to book a good reservation, but I can still make a good reservation for my stay in the valley, and I hope to make a good reservation for my stay in the lake, but I can't wait for a good return, and I can't wait for a good return

A great disappointment.

This is the most luxurious place we stayed in Chile. We stay there for 2 nights, paid over $200 a night, but it was worth it. This really a hotel.  very different than other places that we stayed in Chile which were much more personal and familial, bed and breakfast style.
 
 That being said, it was really remarkable stay. The location, is one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed at. A wonderful and incredibly beautiful Lake, and the only way to get there, is by dropping your car (or however you get to)  at one side of the Tagua Tagua lake,  and they come pick you up with their private boat. Their hotel is perfect. Location is perfect, the rooms are gorgeous, with an amazing view, super comfortable beds, overall real luxury. The food is good, although I would say perhaps not the biggest portions. We stayed in a setting That included three meals a day. Again, the whole area is private, and really walked only by the guests of the hotel.
 
 many beautiful hiking trails all around, that allow you to enjoy the forest, and also have marvelous vistas of this gorgeous Park.
 
 So again, if you have $200 or more to spend, and if you are in the area, we highly recommend going there, as it is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to.
