It's a cheap hotel in a good place. What you pay for it, you get it. Carpets aren't exactly right for this type of hotel. They're very difficult to care for.

What you pay  is what you get

The hotel is well located and not very expensive. The quality is based on the expected price. Carpets are not the best choice for such hotels because they are difficult to maintain. The management should replace them with something that is easier to clean. For a short stay, the hotel is fine.

You get what you pay for

I've traveled a lot and been to countless hotels, but this is one of the worst. The carpets look like they've never been sucked, the whole room was dirty, the inside of the little fridge was covered in black mold. The service, if there was one, was provided only extremely reluctantly, and the Internet was a little slower than a dying snail or as fast as a dead one. The walls were so thin that it was impossible to overhear, as the other guests were having fun, probably with some of the best-dressed dames whose ads were pushed under the door every night.

Maybe the worst hotel.

I travel a lot, and I've already lost count of the hotels I stayed in, but this turned out to be one of the worst. The carpets looked like they'd never been dusted at all, the room was very dirty, inside the little fridge was black mold, service when it was available was provided reluctantly, and the internet was running so awfully slow, it just died. The walls are thin, you can hear the neighbors amusing themselves, most likely with one of the women whose poorly decorated advertisements were attached to the door every night.

Must be the worst hotel.

I travel extensively and have stayed in hotels too numerous to count and this has been among the worst.  The carpets look like they have never been vacuumed; the whole room was filthy; the inside of the tiny refrigerator was black with mold; service, when it existed, was grudgingly provided and the internet wobbled between slightly slower than a dying snail and dead.  The walls are thin so it is impossible not to hear other guests enjoying themselves, possibly with some of the "ladies" whose scantily clad advertisements are slipped under the door every evening.  The location is inconvenient to just about everywhere. In summary, it's dirty, overpriced and best to be avoided.

Possibly the Worst Hotel

An inexpensive business hotel with very few frills, but a good price for the Sanlitun neighborhood of Beijing. I would not would stay here again. I had a supposed suite, in room 525, which was semi-clean but crumbling. I think the last time the carpeting was vacuumed was six months previous. The ceiling paint was cracked and literally hanging over the bed. The closet doors (both) were smashed-in as if someone had kicked them. Some the wall sockets were non-operational. My Chinese colleagues complained about the lack of heat in their room, in mid-February, which was never corrected. They then requested extra blankets which were never delivered. My room had a fairly strong Chinese internet connection but no wireless internet. The overall feel is a hotel that it is need of a serious make-over. A positive point is the non-affiliated English pub next door. The hotel is allegedly easy to find. It is quite close to the Australian, German and Canadian Embassies; however none of my taxi drivers were able to find it on the first try – most drivers ended up having to call the hotel for directions.
