The staff was helpful by giving us an early check in after an all night travel from India. It is a walking distance from the canton fair exhibition halls as well as the Metro. It is made on top of a food plaza so there are decent options to eat if you dont want to travel out after work day ends. the food places do shut down a bit early so that has to be taken into account. 


Near the Canton Fair Grounds

The rooms are usually comfortable & relatively clean - we have had variance in experience after staying here numerous times. This is still China & some local style here - so don't expect 5 star. The rooms are decent size & have wifi, plus basic kitchen facilities. The location is great as walkable to the exhibition. Not many restaurants around but a short taxi ride away is Part pier or Zhujiang New Town area. There are some convenience stores in the underground area just downstairs & also coffee shops etc for breakfast.

our choice for the Canton Fair

The hotel advertises like a non smoking hotel, but when we entry the room the smell was terrible. When I call the front desk to ask for a room change, they told me they don't have other room available that I should open the window, that this property is a non smoking hotel. Lies, have people smoking in the lobby, common areas and have burns of cigarettes in the rooms. I opened the window and in a few minutes the cockroaches living in the room show up. I ask for a room change again, same answer, I told them that I would cancel my reservation and leave, than they miraculous found another room available, also with a terrible smoking smell. The dirty in the common areas and inside the room was is incredible, I don't know when they cleaned the last time. The location is good but I would never stay here again. Have other wonderful hotels around like the Langham Place.

It is convenient to walk to the exhibition grounds and 5 minutes to the subway and small food establishments.The apartments have air conditioning, a desk, a washing machine and a kitchenette.However, it is advisable to eat outdoors as the equipment is moderate and the choice in the small shop is limited.

Fair hotel in good condition for the fair

We are attending the Print and Sign Expo and the venue is just 150 meters away. Very convenient! I believe we got an upgrade because our travel agent who booked for us is an old client of Hee fun Apartment. Our room was so huge! It is actually a 2 bedroom suite! The living room is spacious and the kitchen too! The main bedroom has a walk in closet connected to the bathroom. We stayed for only 2 nights that is why we were not able to use the kitchen facilities, otherwise, cooking would be fun because their kitchen is serviceable. Rooms are being cleaned daily. Mtr is also connected in the basement of Hee fun if you want to go to the city. I will not hesitate to book Hee fun next time I attend the Expo in Guangzhou

Huge rooms with complete necessities!

To start with we read some bad reviews about the apartment and were little worried.But all are worries vanish once we reached.
1. Check in was smooth and within minutes.
2. The apartment was neat and clean  and spacious. 
3. WiFi was first having problem but was handled by staff well and after that it worked perfect throughout our stay. In China you cannot acccess to Facebook and goggle.whats app works fine.
4. Toiletries were there all what you need.
5. Utensiles were provided once you ask housekeeping.
6. Microwave, washing machine  and kettel all was provided and worked perfect.
Though do remember they do not provide coffe or tea sachet. But you can buy from family mart which is in basement and behind the apartment also.Infact they have packed food also. which can be heated in microwave. 
7. Very well located near the poly world trade center walking distance specially if you hall is in E zone.
8.Mc Donald subway and many local resturants there if you eat everything you will get lot of option .Only chicken eater have few options. 
9.The lift is only concern we were on 19th floor the lift can take up to 5 to 8 mnts to come.
10. It's value for money apartment metro is also in basement very near to the apartment and metro in China is convienent and easy.
11. Money exchange is a problem the banks near the apartment were having problem in exchanging dollars to yuan. There is Bank of China which is 10 mnts walk from the apartment they exchange money but will take 1/2 hr minimum.

Best hotel if you are there for exhibhition 

Great room that has nothing to do with the photos posted on this site, nothing to say! we didn't have any problems repeatedly with the taxis to take us back to Heefun (just show them the little map).

All right, all right.

we stayed there for canton fair for 3 weeks. the rooms are not well ventilated and smell bad. we used our own towels. kitchen has no utensils.  staff barely speak english. room is very dark and not well lit. the a/c does not reach the top floor.
there was a condom on our balcony!!!!!!

on the other hand u have a washing machine in the room. location is very close to restaurants 5 min walk.

I'm completely baffled whether I am reading reviews of the same property.

This is located close to Canton Fair Complex and I must say, the serviced apartment is just horrible in every way.

The towels smell like they used too much detergent. The furniture already looks beaten. There are molds here and there.

Oh, there is no cool air con. They told me that the entire building offer no cool air con. Imagine if you are staying in the summer.

There is a hint of cigarette in the room. I guess the guests must have smoked in the room even though the room I get is a non-smoking room. At this point, I would love to cancel the rest of the nights and move to another hotel.

One of my worst experience

For the Canton Fair in April, I used this hotel as a hub. Ideal location!! It's just not much better. In a few minutes' walk you can reach the fairgrounds. The rooms are clean and even have a small kitchen! (Of course, as a European business traveler, you're less interested in this!) Near the Apartment Hotel are some internationally renowned hotels with some excellent restaurants and cozy garden bars. The prices are very moderate for the fair time! Important: If you like to sleep with open windows, book a room with a view of the fair. Important: Always buy yourself drinks for the room - no minibar.
