The 3 bedroom apartment has a wonderful balcony looking down on the Old Town with  gorgeous ocean views.  The rooms & beds were comfortable.  The larger bedroom at the back of the apartment had a modern ensuite bathroom & shower.  The other shared bathroom was small but usable.  Access to the balcony only through the 2 front bedrooms.  Kitchen area with fridge & stove was good but no real seating area inside.
This apartment has no real living area so depends on good weather to make use of the balcony at the front and the patio at the back.  As noted in previous reviews, you need to climb many stairs down to Old Town and back up to the apartment.  Some days we took a taxi from Ploce Gate back up to the apartment because one of our group had a injured knee.
The owner, Slavica, was efficient and always on time.  She organized the airport transportation for our group of 6 plus allowed us to store our suitcases in her garage on the checkout day.

Incredible Views of Dubrovnik Old Town

Must be the gratest view ever from any apartmet I've stayed!

3 comfortable and clean bedrooms were quite spacious. The biggest of them had en-suite bathroom but access to the balcony with the vieew is through the other bedrooms. 
There is also another patio on the back of the house with the view to the backyard.
Bathrooms were clean and quite spacious and there was enough warm water for showering.
Kitchen is small, but manageable. On thing what bothered us a bit is that there is no other place than the balcony to eat (kitchen has an extremely small table with 2 stools) for 4 pers staying together. 
Also the lack of living room is a bit of a concern, we survived, but really the only place to sit down together is on the balcony. In case it's too sunny, wet or windy/cold you need to sit on the bedroom (bed).
Well, you know this when you book the apartment, so no complaints.

Note that if you're on foot there are about 350 steep stairs to the city. These stairs start right below the apartment. There are also less steep "pebble stone" stairs about 100m left (city direction) from the apartment. They were much easier to walk (on of us had problems with her knee). Even if you come by car you need to walk about 30 stairs to get into the apartment. What a good exercise.

In case you want to use the taxi take it always from the Ploce gate. That way it's about half the price than from the Pile gate side.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. They arranged us transfer from the airport at a reasonable price.

Magnificent view, but need a good stamina to get there

Wow what an amazing location! The apartment is high up in the suburb of Ploce - hence the outstanding views! We never tired of the view over the old city of Dubrovnik.
All three bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The main bedroom (at the back) is spacious with a large, modern en-suite. The other 2 bedrooms had large double beds and patio doors to the balcony. There was a separate bathroom, again modern and a decent size. There was a small kitchen (but bigger than the photo shows) with a fridge, cooker, plenty of mugs and glasses and  a small bar with 2 stools.
The air con was excellent and the easiest air con I have ever worked! The wifi was good in the apartment but not on the balcony! No problem - who wants to look at a phone when you have that amazing view! Before we arrived I was a little concerned about the lack of living room, but we were only there for a few days so 'lived' on the balcony, except one wet evening when we ended up playing cards on the large double bed in the main bedroom.
The hosts were friendly and always contactable by email and phone. They were around to welcome us and to give us a welcome drink, but then only visited us when we contacted them, and to say goodbye at the end of the holiday. They were friendly and not at all imposing.
The actual location was fine - the steps to Dubrovnik are right by the apartment - out of the property, turn left and about 400 steps later you find yourself in Dubrovnik!! I walked quite slowly but think it only took about 10 minutes. Without me, my children would probably have made it in 5. There is a supermarket on the parallel road below next to the 'biker cafe' and many smaller supermarkets along the coast road between the entrance to the old city and Banje beach. There are hundreds of restaurants within the city - all the ones we tried were very good.
I would definitely recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing view - the photos do not lie!!

Our hostess in Apartment Prudga was very sweet and accommodating. Our room had a balcony with a spectacular view of the city. We are a quiet middle aged couple, but of course enjoyed some wine, beer and local fresh ingredients on the balcony in the evening. While the room is in the apartment with the family, they were never intrusive. The room price was reasonable for Dubrovnik in July. The room was quite clean and comfortable. As an earlier reviewer warned, do not book this room if you have bad knees or are not in good shape. It is a sustained steep hike up the hill from town, but that's what makes the view so sensational!
Also, Slavica arranged for a transport from the airport making our arrival seamless.

Quiet, beautiful view above the craziness of Dubrovnik

These apartments are situated near the old city 15 min walk. Our room had a perfect view. The owners were very nice, and they even let us park in their private garage. That was very nice of them. We paid 70 euros per night, which is very reasonable for Dubrovnik. 
PS: i dint recomend this place if. You plan on walking and you are not in a good shape :) Prepare on climbing some stairs!
