Has a little way to go before it earns five 
stars.  We booked the studio apartment. Took a while to find, as u have to walk thru the restaurant Marco Polo, bit off putting. Restaurant had to call owners son who took ages to let us in. Security is good as u have a lock on your apartment door and lock to the shared landing with the apartment next door.  Apartment is a good size, bathroom excellent with very good shower and water pressure, but a caution the hot water is boiling so be careful especially in the kitchen.  Kitchen has a cook top, dishwasher, microwave and a fridge, freezer needed defrosting urgently.  Good air com.  Bed was comfy but the pillows woeful and the bedding was tired and needed updating.  Apartment was not the cleanest, especially the pots and dishes, every service was covered with vases of dusty plastic flowers and candle holders had to clear to make room, there was a very strong air fresher we put in the bathroom but the smell still dominated.  The apartment was not serviced for the three days we were there, we had to use the same small towel the whole time, and there are no laundry facilities, the rubbish was smelling as had no idea what to do with it. We were not supplied with normal tea and coffee. If the window is open U get the cooking smells and the second hand cigarette smoke drifting up from the restaurant below. It is the perfect location but wouldn’t stay again, needs decluttering, a good scrub, new linen and some servicing.  

Fantastic location but......

Charming little place in heart of Old Town. Unexpected benefit was hostess who went to bus station to retrieve a lost wallet after coordinating with host in another city where it had been left.   A little tight for 3 of us, but still worth it.  Hard to find at first cuz had to walk thru a restaurant ( currently Marco Polo).

Perfect Location - Helpful hostess

Definitely recommend staying here. The owner (Irene) was very welcoming and helpful and the apartment can’t be faulted. It is extremely clean and roomy and it is in a great location. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

L&L is right in the heart of the Old Town accessed through Marco Polo restaurant. Our apartment was themed Lavender and this was carried through all the design. It was entertaining finding all the lavender references. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this accommodation to other couples.

Beautiful apartment 

The location is excellent. 5 minutes from the main street: Stradun. We got by taxi to the Pile gate, walked down Stradun and turned right before the Orlando column. We had to find the department because the street (Lucarica) is parallel to Stradum and I saw on the map that it was perpendicular. We didn't know the owner. We dealt with the employees of the Marco Polo restaurant below. One of them handed us the key and accompanied us to the department. Very nice, such as the pictures and complete. It worked perfectly much less than the TV. Buen wifi. There is a supermarket Todozum at 100 meters. A 10 minute walk is the beach Banje.

Super recommended!

 I always like to stay in hotels and have been skeptical about staying in an apartment. We decided to stay an additional night in Dubrovnik, however, the hotel we were staying at did not have a room available. We stumbled upon this apartment for 1160 kunas a night, and boy, it changed the way I look at staying in one. This is in a perfect location. Very spacious. I wished we stayed here on our entire trip. Helen, the owner's mother welcomed us. She was very pleasant and showed us the apartment. It was clean, modern, and well-maintained. I would highly recommend this place. 

Hidden gem

The lovely owner had to wait for us at the stop (it's a 5-minute walk to the hotel) as it's all pedestrian within the city and the good thing about this hotel is that you only have to climb 21 steps which is nothing, considering that Dibrovnick is all stairs!
