We stayed here for a week while visiting the island for a wedding.
The hostess picked us up from the bus stop on arrival, what a lovely lady. Once arrived at apartment, we were given refreshments & cheese cake.
The bedroom is spacious, the bathroom was perfect size & private, there a communal kitchen-lounge, but only 2 bedrooms, so it's not over run & very private.
There a balcony over looking the port, with the most amazing sunset.
Host changed the bed, fresh towels & also provided us with beach towels. She literally couldn't do enough for us, the most kind sweetest lady I've ever met.
The scenery is beautiful, plenty to do in dubrovnik.
We found it cheaper to get an uber, rather than buses.
We came across the 7 Hotel ruins on our last day, beautiful clear crystal water on the beach (kapila beach) is definitely a must.
You won't be disappointed staying here, 100% would stay here again.
Our first time in Croatia, wont be the last.
To top it off before we left, we had home made pancakes with syrup or chocolate.

No words can describe this place & hostess

We stayed at this apartment for four days while visiting Dubrovnik. The apartment was very well located with a beautiful view over the harbor. it was easy to access the Old Town and was only a few minutes by Uber which was not too expensive. the room and apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The host Zelijka most helpful in advising where to go and where to eat and even drove us to the old town on a few occasions. A beautiful place to stay and will come back again. And I will recommend it to our friends.

We really enjoyed the stay at Ivo Guesthouse. The host is very kind and provided us a lot of very useful information. She also managed to pick up us at the port and she offered nice ice cream :) 
 the Ivo  guesthouse is very clean and there is a beautiful terrace view. It was a great stay so we definitely recommend it  :) !

We spent an unforgettable week at Željka's place. She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. First, she picked us from the bus station during her lunch break and took the time to explain us how to get around the city. She offered us ice cream and orahovac and recommended places to visit and restaurants (all her recommendations were amazing). She even took us to the bus station when we left.
The house was lovely, our room was spacious and everything was squeaky clean. Milk, coffee, tea, bread, jam, cereals for breakfast were available.  
There is a bus stop very close, so it is very easy to get the old town in about 10-15 minutes. 
Last but not least, the view is absolutely amazing.

Best host ever!

We had a brilliant 4 nights at Ivo Guest House. 
We were in Dubrovnik for a wedding and I had searched high and low for an affordable guest house in the area. Ivo ticked all of the boxes and we really enjoyed our stay.
Željka is an absolute star and will pick you up from the bus station or take you into the old town if she is free.
You can walk quite easily to the Old Town in 30 minutes BUT it is uphill on the way back - not a problem for moderately fit people!
We are so glad that we downloaded the UBER app before our trip as it is so much cheaper than local taxis. For example, a standard cab is at least 45 Euro from the airport to Ivo, but UBER is 25 Euro.
Anyway, back to the guest house! Great location, super comfy beds with extra pillows and blankets if needed, great air-con, ample space for clothes and a lovely sea view. Our bathroom wasn't an en-suite but it wasn't shared either, and not once did I see another person whilst we were there. It was a good size with a hot, powerful shower. There is also a shared kitchen, dining room and lounge, so it feels like you have your own house. Cereals, toast items and tea and coffee are also provided.
We loved our stay here and would stay again.

Fabulous accommodation in Dubrovnik

We stayed at the Ivo Guesthouse for 2 nights. We received a detailed driving description by e-mail, so it was very easy to find the private parking lots on the main street. We were greeted with ice cream and cold drinks, received a perfect consultation to Dubrovnik. The bus leaves 50m away and is 15 minutes later in the old town. We can walk to the harbour in 15 minutes. Although not a contractual component, there was free butter, toast marmalade in the kitchen cabinet. The def toaster was immediately replaced after the announcement. The room was very small, although older, but very clean. The mattresses were so good and we felt free to leave. This was something for all of us, but we could not feel it in the kitchen because of the luxurious dining area and the luxurious dining area.

Friendly and clean

It is a house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, each room corresponds to a bathroom, plus you have a kitchen with a large table and a living room. The house has everything, wifi, air conditioning, complete kitchen,... It is simply wonderful. It has a rooftop terrace from which you have spectacular views and you can have something at a table with chairs. Erika is an excellent hostess, prepares all the maps, both the Dubrovnik and the bus. The bus stop is 30 meters away and the bus leaves from there in a few hours. It is super current so you always know when to pick up the bus. The bus takes exactly 15 minutes to get to the front door, which you should take into account the car to pick up the bus. The back door has parking for you to leave the bus in the upper part of the house.

This is a GENIAL!!!

It is located in a few sloping alleyways, walking to the old town takes about 20 minutes. To get up, it is quite complicated, but the bus number 3 in about 10 minutes leaves you almost at the door. There is free parking on the street of the hotel, and when they received us, the woman helped us to leave it well parked where she could control it from the balcony. We were offered drinks on arrival and coffee and cookies for free breakfast! The rooms and bathrooms are well equipped, very clean and air conditioned. There are some views of my beautiful Dubrovnik from the terrace and the 10 from the entrance.

Good value for money

The owner and hostess was absolutely amazing and went over and beyond our expectations. She even collected us from the station and made us ice cream and juice when we arrived while taking the time to explain the buses and transport. The apartment is sweet, clean and well furnished. There is a beautiful patio with gorgeous views and out room had a balcony. The bathroom and kitchen are sharing but it's spotless and no hassle from other guests. All in all a good gem. 

Beautiful Views Amazing Hostess 

We spent 3 very pleasant days in Ivo Guesthouse. The owner, Zelijka,
could not have been nicer, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Unfortunately we were unable to contact her re a pick up time - our fault,not hers, so had to take a taxi there.
We would never have found it ourselves, and even when we arrived
could not see a sign to point to the guesthouse. Each room has a bathroom,not necessarily attached to it, and a shared kitchen and terrace with a most wonderful view. The No. 3 bus stop(called Nunciata) just across the road would bring you anywhere, - port,bus
station, old town etc. Once you know where it is there is no better place for exploring the city without the hustle and bustle.
