Our room was slightly small, but it was clean. The location was very good, close to everything in old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 

The place is not the best to meet people, or at least thats what i thought, as there isnt really a large common area or group activities planned ahead. But if you're already with a group and not planning to meet with other people the hostel is perfect on every other aspect.

Great location, pretty small rooms

Igor our host was amazing. I don't think enough words could describe him but he truly cares about his guests and is willing to go the extra mile - he knew that 2 of the guests planned on waking up early in one of the rooms hence he put is in a separate dorm so we could sleep in. Also gave us plenty of tips for what to do around town.
The hostel itself was a good place to stay and towels included were a pleasant surprise. Shower and kitchen facilities were basic but good - sufficient for a short stay.

Good short stay

This place was clean and the location was spectacular... only a small walk to a tiny inlet where you could swim in aqua green waters! the staff were amazing and very friendly, up for a chat and providing great information on things to do around the city. Clean and the towels were changed daily. Highly recommended for hostel living

Friendly hostel in fabulous location close to sea and old town

I stayed only one night, but I'm going with my experience: The best: - The location a few meters from the entrance to the Old Town - The willingness and goodwill of the hostel staff that being almost 12 o'clock at night took the job of telling us a map and explaining all the things to do and where to go in Dubrovnik and then the next day allowing us to pack our bags after check-out time - The rooms have air conditioning that, as far as I can see, is not normal in the hostels of Dubrovnik The worst: - While it is a small hostel with a bathroom for everyone, what in the morning had to wait a few minutes to be able to use it.

Hostel well ubicado

I couldn’t recommend Hostel Marker more! Marco is so friendly and was very helpful to us throughout our stay! The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and air conditioning is on throughout the day and night which is necessary! We did the kayak trip through the hostel and it was our highlight of the trip, must do if you have the time! The location is perfect as it’s just outside the Pile Gate and there are also 2 pebble beaches very close by too. Come here if looking for a hostel in Dubrovnik!

Excellent hostel, great location 

The youth hostel is beautifully located at the foot of the old town of Dubrovnik and just steps from a small, friendly beach. The room is small and the mattress is out of age. The bathrooms for use by several people are convenient and well occupied. The staff is very friendly and ready to respond to any complaints and inquiries. I recommend for one night only.

The situation is fabulous.

Zero out of 5 stars. Rudest staff I've encountered in the past month of hostels, and the hostel looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a week. The staff even acted like people staying were intrusive. Thankfully I did not plan to stay longer. 

Worst hostel I've visited

This is an excellent hostel for groups or traveling alone. The staff can't do enough to make your stay easy and enjoyable. It's only a thirty second walk to  Kings Landing and a two minute walk to the Pilo Gate of the old town, what more do you want. I'll be back with another group.

Perfect location, Fun Hostel.

First impression of this hostel was the owner. Cannot exaggerate how friendly and helpful he was!
The rooms were clean and did the job. The hostel came with a few nice touches- mainly free towels and lockers (including locks).
There's a kitchen with fridge, microwave and stove top which worked great for us one night.
The showers were a little difficult to get the right temperature but clean. My complaint would be that there were only 2 bathrooms in our building- each with a shower and toilet. If you needed to use the toilet during busy shower period we had to wait around a bit.
Finally location was as close as you're getting to old town without being in the walls. Close to the bus stop, and plenty of restaurants, walking anywhere was easy.
Overall, lovely hostel. We were happy, phenomenal customer service from the owner and definitely would return.

All Round Solid

Came here for one day, passing by Dubrovnik. The staff was really helpful, gave us lots of tips of what to do in the city, where to go, where to eat, which beach to visit. The rooms were cozy, clean and had air conditioner. It's located really near Old Town, so perfect for tourists. It's a little pricey but worth the while. Definitely great place to be
