stinks of s**t and p*ss 24/7 I think the boats come and dump sewage and it’s so bloody off putting especially if you’re by the promenade having something to eat or drink. Day or night the stench is horrid. I’m surprised Split authorities or whoever the f don’t do anything about it.

By the way in this city we were a little disappointed by Split, a very medium-sized city or in the heart of the city found old Soviet-style buildings, apart from the promenade near the port or were laid out benches facing the Adriatic sea, palm trees and many bars or restaurants, the rest of the bof, bof......

There were no mention in the description of their property that they have no elevators , no porters , no receptionist , no telephone and no emergency exits . Their wifi was ok in the beginning and just disappeared in the coming days . One needs to have a good cell phone plan bec you will be chasing the caretaker just to determine where the flush of the toilet is located ... in my case i have to go downstairs to ask for help from the waiter bec there was a problem with the contact nos. that were given to me . I paid cash without getting any receipt in return . If you are ok with these conditions ... go ahead and book this apartment bec it is located right where the action is .

the only thing good is the location

The location of thr Riva Apartments is is so very magical.  We stayed in the Prisca.
I Split is an amazing, fascinating, wonderful mix of ancient and modern, and the apartment straddles both worlds. From the balcony we looked down on the modern, exciting, vibrant waterfront Riva promenade with its al fresco cafes, free musical entertainment, and the endless access to people-watching. Yet, upon leaving the front door of the apartment we were immediately transported to 305 AD (minus the tourists) and into the stone alleyways and paved streets that the Ilyrians, Greeks, Romans and so many more walked so long before us. The apartment itself is in the exact location where the Dioclesian emperor had his quarters. Split nightlife is alive, vibrant, and has something for everyone - young and old. My husband and I are 70, but we were swept up in the nightlife and stayed up as late we possibly could to be a part of it. And then there's Paula who everyone reads about if reading these reviews. She was our anchor and go-to girl - she knew everything and everyone and we don't know how we would have gotten along without her. Thank you Paula (and Katrina) for all your help. We will be back next year!!!

Amazing, wonderful, magical place

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this well located 5th floor spacious apartment in Split. Clean well equipped 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen facilities, balconies & views of the harbour was very good value. We found public street parking with the assistance of our host who also provided tips for sight seeing & eating. Positioned close by the stunning area of Diocletians  palace & Riva waterfront area.

Great location clean comfortable stay

We booked our apartments via booking.com and Marin met us at the airport shuttle bus near the cruise lines.  After landing at Split airport, we paid 5 E each to catch a ride into the "inner harbor" area of Split.  Marin walked us to the location along the waterfront and promenade and we climbed the stairs.  He immediately put us at ease, easy to speak with, and spoke excellent English.   This is an apartment building with other renters, and owner-occupied units and we were on the fifth floor and had no worries or concerns.  No elevator, hopefully, you've traveled light and don't mind the climb...after 16 hours of flying, it was welcomed.

The apartments were comfortable, WiFi worked as well as the A/C, shower a tad small, but totally functional.  The location, just outside the palace walls and off the Promenade, was the best feature, and easy walking distance to some great wine and food.  If you are from US, you will appreciate the current exchange rate, as it was favorable to the USD.

We would definitely book this again on our return to Croatia...and don't forget to visit Hvar, just a short distance across the water.  Cheers.

Riva-Waterfront Apartments - same Address

We booked the room because of its location and view (from the photos on their website). Because the apartment juts out from most of the other building on the palace wall, it really does have the best view from the rooftop patio. It was magnificent place to relax as the sun went down. 
The apartment is basically on enormous room (the toilet is separate) on the third floor with an upstairs patio. It is very tastefully furnished, and has a few kitchen items (nespresso, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, complimentary supplies in the fridge). Only negative was that there was no attachment for the shower nozzle so you had to either hold it - or have a bath. It had free wi-fi  and Josko gave us an excellent run down on all the appliances. 
There are several different types of accommodation run by the same group.  Ours was "Split Riva Front Sea View Apartments & Suites".

Fantastic location and view

It's a pity that our stay in such a wonderful city as Split was overshadowed by our terrible experience with this apartment, specifically the one located on Senjska Street. I know that they have other apartments and that's why we hit it. The place is a very small triplex, with uncomfortable and dangerous snail stairs and the bedroom on the top floor. It's not functional and it's very hot, since one of the two air conditioners is for heating only and it sounds like a tractor. But it's their fault: when we get to pick up the key, they're not even in the office (it's 12:15 in the morning), we're waiting in the street for an hour to clear it (they said they were checking out the bathroom); when they're checking out the bathroom, it's a week later, and it looks like they've moved to the bathroom, and they're not even showing us the money, but if they're going to the door, they're not going to show us a nice picture, and if they're not going to the door, they'
