Well, the top floor, which is 500 yards per person, is just for the young people, where we're staying, even though we didn't hang out here, a warm hostel, a big living room, a five-bedroom, great wifi, air, toilet, but expensive food downtown, 15 minutes by car.

Rude and ignorant staff, dirty beds, floor, showers. Generally a dirty vibe. Rooms are cramped. Carbord on all the doors with writing that gives the hallway a ghetto look. Price is very bad compared to the value you get from the facility. I ended up rather using my sleeping bag than the dirty bed sheets.

So we hadn't realized the showers were open. There are no doors on the showers, no  curtain, nothing. The toilet doors are also open/they can not be locked.

The bedrooms were okay but it was a bit of a guess how you would get up on the top bunk bed without stairs. 

Other than this it was okay just to stay. If we had known there was no doors on the showers we would have stayed somewhere else..

There were also soooooo many dutch, Belgian or German people there. We are Dutch ourselves so it was actually not pleasant to be constantly surrounded by people from the same country seeing as we were trying to get away from it all.

Free Zone, Free Show

I stayed here with my children, and I would say the overall vibe was a party scene, not real family friendly. Despite this, the visit went ok. Yes, the floor is dirty, the appearance is industrial, and the linens could use some refreshing. It is warm enough, and comfortable.
I would like to to clarify some of the other reviews, though. First, the staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful. Yes, they speak Czech, and the location is Czech Republic. Duh.
Ok next, there is easy access to transportation. Within 100 meters is a tram stop, transport ticket sales at the mini Mart, several restaurants and a pharmacy. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the city center and costs about one euro. There is hot water, a kettle, microwave. There is a restaurant on-site and even delivery to your room. Overall, I think it is a very good value for the price. We were there in the off season, so I cannot speak for peak times.

Much better than expected

Food was ok, ate xxl schnitzel for lunch and it is great, food in general was alright(but a la carte kitchen,i guess if you pay,you get good food?).
Staff is kind of strange,any language except theirs is impossible,they simply don t understand it.
Rooms are pretty small,but we only used it for sleepovers.
A lot of young people go here so be prepared for partying all night.

Hotel

Unpolite, arogant staff and well made tourist scam.
They offer what seems great service for a huge amnout of money and all you get is pile of some goo what seems like a breakfast to them.

Never again

We were going to the Czech Republic to stay where we had the crowns. We tried to return it, to explain that we were better off with the crowns for a beer. The guy pretended that he didn't understand, and he left. I ordered the pomegranate, and I was upset until tomorrow. One of the guys started to come back, and he started to fuse the column, which I would also have opened. When we had to start lighting up, there was a photo of him, but there were no other places to go. But there were no other places to go. But there were no other places to go.

It's a jelly.

The picture of the hostel is completely out of the picture. It looks pretty cozy outside: around the tennis courts, a nice lounge area on the first floor. But the rooms turned out to be awful: all the gray, the feeling of a half-dumb room, the light doesn't work everywhere, the bathroom doesn't close, there are no curtains/circuits in the shower, so the floor is flooded with water. It's noisy, noisy, the neighbors can hear. WiFi is good only on the first floor. Everything above is distributed by the time, at night is turned off. And breakfast... I saw someone in the photo of meat. In fact, it's very sad: dissolved coffee, cotton and chocolate balls with milk, whole bread or bread, butter and two kinds of fries.

Now undergoing restoration but located in a really beautiful place in the middle of a park with tennis courts and even though it's not really central it has really cheap and convenient connections, very affordable prices and special staff...

I was here this summer with 4 other people. We initially took a room for 5 people with shared services at 250€ for 4 nights with breakfast included. It's a typical hostel, with Baths, Docs and laundries shared on the hostel floor. These 5 rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the complex. To be honest the room is too small for 5 people and the toilet facilities, if shared with uneducated and respectful people, are not the best (but it's a problem for every hostel anyway). Fortunately we were able to change the room with one at the first that had the bathroom in the room and it was much larger and more comfortable.
