We stayed in this apartment for a week. the only thing that was worth it was the location. great, two steps from the main square and convenient for all public transportation both metro and bus. it moved really comfortably. as for the room it was quite spacious the bathroom too. but the bed had broken roofs and there was not even a TV to relax in the evening. the owner robert was kind at first but slightly invasive. we often sat on the doorstep talking for several minutes trying to peek into the room or if we were smoking. the thing I didn't like it at all. the sheets and pillowcases were old and carved as much as the bathroom covers and the washclothes were pouring, everything came into the washclothes for days. so I didn't seem to have to go back to the laundry room. so I had to hang on to them. so I didn't have to hang on to them again.

Unfortunately, I can 't recommend it except for its central, quiet location.

Well what can I say, Robert Volnik the Manager was an absolute star. I was travelling with 3 friends to Prague for New Year. Robert picked us up from the airport and drove us to the Apartment and it was like having our own Tour Guide. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was a mind of information! Robert spent about an hour with us once we arrived at the apartment giving us advice about Prague, answering our questions and highlighting things on our map. 
He recommended some great bars, restaurants, cafes and things to do in Prague as well as giving us travel, security and shopping advice! 
The apartment was nice and clean and had amazing character! It was nice to be staying in a historic Czech building and not a modern hotel. The location of the apartment just behind the National Museum and off Wenceslas  Square was very central but was also in a very economical part of town( no tourist mark up in the bars, restaurants or supermarkets. It was also very convenient for getting around Prague. Although lots of public transport is available close by we walked absolutely everywhere even the highest tourist attractions such as the castle, cathedral and Petrin Hill and Tower. 
The apartment had everything we required including microwave, fridge, sink, kettle, nice bathroom, and triple double glazed windows. Despite the building being old and the ceilings high, the apartment was always warm despite the -4 degrees temperature some days! 
There is a lovely Cafe underneath the apartment called Cafe Bali which does an amazing breakfast at a reasonable price! ( If you book one day ahead you get a 10 per cent discount too, so we had breakfast here everyday! Her sandwiches and cakes all looked amazing too so I’m sure lunch and dinner in Cafe Bali are as good as the breakfast!  The manager of the Cafe, Leona was another absolute star! Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was very amenable and the Cafe was beautifully decorated. 
All I can say is, I will definitely be back to Prague staying in the Museum Inn and dining at Cafe Bali xx

Museum Inn hostel, Prague

The owner, Robert, very kindly explained everything to us in the smallest detail about both our room and the city. Unfortunately it was the only really positive thing about this hostel. The room was quite cozy, with a kitchen and a bathroom with a large shower. there was only a head towel to do everything, face, shower, bidet. we didn't like this thing because being 5 days and 4 nights was insufficient.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 7 days during our recent trip to Prague and it was lovely. The room is basic with some cooking facilities and no T.V but if you came to Prague on a couples  holiday you don't need the T.V :p also the building is dated but historical and in a prime location behind the museum and next to the tram and metro lines. Also the manager Robert is very helpful and kind and will offer some good advise about Prague, places to eat and areas to avoid.

Also if travelling here I recommend using a pre-paid visa card such as Revoult makes exchanging money easier and safer using ATMs

Exactly what it says on the tin!!

It was the fourth time in Prague and the first time I settled so successfully: close to the center, there is everything you need - and a mini-kitchen, and a shower, and the internet (where without it???).. Robert (the owner) explained everything in great detail and showed it on the map: where to eat, where to buy, where to go and what to see exactly during our visit.

It's not the hostel, it's the apartments.

The location was great , the rooms were clean newly renovated bathrooms , felt like home . The owner picked us up from the station and gave us very helpful tips , he spent more than 30 min explaining about the city and telling us what to and and how to do it . he was very friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed . his recommendations were awesome you have everything that you need for ur stay from utensils to hairdryer  . highly recommended

Simply amazing

This is a very simple hostel, very well located near the museum..of Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square. If you can easily walk from Central Station as 15 minutes...you can also take the subway its 2 stops to Pavlova Station. Roberto el dueño is very friendly...speaks English and Spanish and tells you things like where you can have breakfast and dinner at a good price. No hotel...you should arrange the time of your arrival with him.He has a car transport service from y to the airport at a reasonable price.Other travelers mention that it is not recommended to take a taxi on the street in Prague.That is why the transport is a good option...The rooms are clean....containing hot water and accommodations...German bathroom with something cool there.

Excellent attention and attention.

It is very close to the tourist area and the train station and you can walk to all the tourist attractions in Prague.The owner of the hotel is very friendly and provides complete tourist information.The rooms have the basics.It seems to me an excellent option and not expensive.

Excellent location

Hostel Museum Inn is situated near the small garden in an old building 5 minutes from two metro stations: Muzeum and Hlavni Nadrazi. We stayed in 2 rooms appartment, it has its own bathroom and small kitchen. Bed was big and super comfortable. 

Owner of the hostel knows everything about his city! He suggested us many nice places in the Prague and showed us all of them on the map. He takes care about guests and it's always easy to reach him by the phone or e-mail.

The Museum Inn hostel is situated in a quite district 3 minutes from the beautiful Wenceslas Square - the heart of Prague. There are a lot of bars and nice not expensive restaurants around it. I would strongly recommend you to go to BlaBla Bar (super tasty cocktails, 2 min from hostel) and Hemingway Bar (15 min from hostel).

You will really enjoy the beauty of Prague even more if you'll decide to stay here!

Amazing hostel where you feel like you're at home

Satisfied with the previous reviews, my girlfriend and I (boys 22 years old) decided to book a wedding room for a stay of 4 nights. What to say... Robert the owner treated us very well, he was super educated and map in hand explained to us every corner of Prague that deserved a visit, besides the fact that he indicated places where we could have a very good lunch and where we could change large banknotes without having to go into the fridge. Another positive note is the location of the building, practically 50 meters from Piazza San Vences from where you can walk around the whole city without using the metro or tram (as we have done, by the way). The room is quite cozy, with a kitchen and a large bathroom with a mixed bathroom.
