The reception is active until 20:00, after which you enter with a code. Room is large but the beds are shy; no mattress, uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The bathroom is the top, with shower next to the door. You have to be good at avoiding flooding. At 6:00 the damage of the bells of a nearby church wakes you up.

It is dated and could do with an update. I stayed in the annex. A quite large room, but no desk to work. A small outside area with chairs and a table is absolutely a pluss in summer. Nice bed, but an awful shower curtain. Clean - as one should expect. Nice warm rolls for breakfast.
Very sweet girl in the reception, helpful and kind.

Nothing to complain about - not much to be excited by.

Overnight stay while on a road trip in Denmark.  Easy check in.  Comfortable room.  Good breakfast.  Easy parking outside hotel.  Very quiet as we were mid week & not peak season.  Room clean.  Walked to main town & restaurants

For a night it was an ok hotel for all the family. the rooms are not fantastic but comfortable, the service is fine finally the breakfast is ok. so it's a recommendation, not strong but it's a quite fine hotel.

The hotel claims to have been  renovated - however, I cannot imagine how bad it has been.
The windows are damp with dew, the bathroom had no hot water, and the plug for the razor/hair dryer was sitting 2-3 cm out of the wall - not very safe to use. I heard that in some of the other rooms the bathroom drain was clogged.
The cleaning was rather inadequate and the food was boring.

Cold and old fashioned (old fashioned in the bad meaning)

This is the worst experience ever! 
At check in there was no one there. 
The bar next door was the only place to get something to drink, but nothing to eat. 
The reception closed at 18:00 so not really late. 
The next morning the breakfast was so noisy that i had to go out to eat. 
The rooms are small, dirty, smelly and the bathrooms are about 4sqare meters, with a toilet, sink and a shower crammed together, no ventilation, no window, and due to the moist mug on the door.  
Dirty carpets, uncomfortable chairs, no possability to watch TV while sitting, you had to go to bed to see TV... 

The stair case have to be mentioned, the upper part is more like a ladder than a staircase, and it is made wors by carpeting it. Steep and slippery, the hand rail is so dirty you stick when using it... 

But this is nothing compared to the service! 
At 10:30 i Was woken up, by a screaming guy yelling to me (I'm a Scandinavian so i understand Danish well) in English "I have charged your Credit Card, get out now" 
In the next 15 minutes i got packed and showered and when i hit the reception no one was there, as usual...

Worst ever, stay away!

Please please go elsewhere! If I could give this place ZERO I would-
The place smells of 100 years of cabbage and dust: the beds are lumpy but the worst thing about it are the bathrooms which cram a sink, toilet and shower into a 4x4 space so that the shower and sink are both behind the  shower curtain- 
The price for what you get in this joint is outrageously expensive -like all of northern Denmark -and they charged us the full  price of the room when we checked out a day early Bc it was so uncomfortable!
in fact, just skip this town....

Suicide Bathroom

It's the second time I've been to the hotel, after two years. It's still nice and nice. The hotel has a special family atmosphere, especially considering that the concept of crowd of tourists doesn't apply here in principle.

Comfortable and hospitable 2

It seems to be the only hotel in Frederiksverk. Despite the monopoly, the hotel is extremely pleasant, you can even say family. Even considering that the trip was a business one, the hotel has an interior relaxation and enjoyment of the color of a small date of the city. I want to celebrate a rich breakfast.

I can only write positive things about the hotel because it's just a good hotel. The staff is competent and friendly, the breakfast buffet is lonely and the rooms are a little old-fashioned but nice. The only thing I disliked was the fact that there were not two double beds in my room but only two single beds. The bathroom is spacious with toilet, shower and sink. The location is quiet and close to a shopping corridor with a very good pizzeria. I felt very comfortable there!
