Good reception of the staff, despite a reservation problem. Available room, clean, functional. Lunch not ready at the scheduled times and it is served so if you need to eat fast, it is not convenient. A mixed buffet and service would be desirable. Average bread. Guest staff.

Two nights

Lack of cleaning, damaged bathroom and bedroom accessories, bad air conditioning, no phone in the room for any emergency calls, bad pool chairs.

The hotel is normal. It has hot water, it has a swimming pool. The food is good. The attention of the proper staff. It is close to the port. Meet the goal of rest you need, as most of the time is spent outside.

Dirty, old, no maintenance, cheating with photos that don't fit with reality, terrible food, old and stained-glass bedding, very old TVs, no hot water, very bad experience, what I should recall is that the staff was kind, they should make an effort to improve.

Terrible 

Chosed this hotel because of the swimmingpool and the "tourist superior" claim. Swimming pool was closed  the 2 days we stayed there it opened at our insistence at 15h the 2nd day. We complained to the operator and the hotel lied saying it was closed because we asked to have it cleaned.
 Operator  and me had arranged the night before to have a breakfast box for 4 people at 6h10 next day because we had a tour. At 6h15 WE had to inform the kitchen personnel that we needed our breakfast and that we were already late for our tour. Nobody had informed them. They gave us 4 cheese sandwichs in foiled paper and nothing more. Cheaper hotels had prepared a decent breakfast box with fruit and juice for the other members of the tour.
We paid way more for this hotel with a swimming pool we couldn't use and for very poor quality of staff.
I am writing this because the cherry on top is that they dared to lie blaming us for the closed swimming pool.
Save your money, choose another hotel and enjoy the island somewhere with a bit of professionalism.

Don't go there

Make sure you don't have anything go wrong with your trip when you book. I booked through a travel company tied closely with their hotel run by Nelly Sevilla. I booked last minute then had to change my plans less than 15 hours after booking and Nelly claimed that not only Palmeras but all activities associated with the trip would not be winning to issue a refund, even within 24 hours of booking. This hotel should accept basic industry standards and issue at least a partial refund when cancelled within 24 hours of booking.

No Refunds

Paid marriage room hotel 3 stars, I was given a single, routine bed, precarious bathroom, hot water is short. Personal very friendly but not qualified for tourism. Well ubiquitous. Urgent improvements are needed in sanitary facilities, TV, water heating system and expert tourism driving.

No, I didn't do well.

Very noisy, the staff doesn't talk screaming At 6 in the morning Griting Mariaaaaaaa atros Dan a single daily comfort, if there is little left no ponen mas. Andaban baratas in the living room. Al breakfast habia que pefir por favor huevos leche etc. There is never anything left alone leftovers. Very little kindness. No rs apto for rest.

Bad service in general Ingrid Chile

Rooms are spacious and relatively clean, sheets and beds comfortable, bathrooms are very small and they were frequently out of hot water so don't expect a hot shower. The breakfast was fine for one day after that better to eat next door at the deli. There is a pool that families with small children were enjoying. The location is good.

Fine and functional but nothing special

Disappointing, especially the food. I know better than to stay at all-inclusive hotels; I’m never satisfied with the food. But for a group trip to the Galapagos Islands this was the selected hotel . . . for three nights. Ugh. 

We arrived midday and lunch was waiting for us but even the fellow serving the food couldn’t tell us what it was. Rice, for sure. There’s always rice! But the rest of it, I just couldn’t eat it and I knew then that I’d find my meals elsewhere even though it meant paying more money. As it turned out, I wasn’t alone. Of the 15 people on the tour, all but a few found their meals elsewhere. Even breakfast, which is a fairly simple meal, was unacceptable. 

The hotel can be noisy especially because it seems to attract groups of teenagers and younger children, perhaps with parents who are looking for a “deal”. There’s no lift so you’ll most likely climb stairs to your room – be careful, one of our members took a fall; it was raining and the steps are not properly protected. This is an old (in need of updating) facility. 

My room was clean, the bed comfortable, but there were two steps to the toilet and then about an 18 inch barrier to get into the shower. One afternoon we returned from our journey and there was no hot water. 

The hotel is conveniently located to the docks and the shopping district where you’ll also -- conveniently -- find several good restaurants. Leaving the hotel turn left and there’s a small deli with sandwiches, pizza and excellent ice cream. 

Mostly I'd say NO to this property . . . but if you are on a budget, need a deal, touring with a bunch of kids, the rooms are clean and the area seems to be safe. I would not under any circumstances pay for the food!
