Deep blue divers hostel is located at the center of the city, near all the shops and restaurants.. I spent 4 days there in August 2020, the staff is welcoming and very friendly, their internet wi do is fast, the room is appropriate, the root is nice for spending nights or having meals.. and it's affordable.. it's great for the prices you pay..

Affordable, suitable for solo travelers

I stayed few days for diving.Not fancy place but great for what I have paid.
Located at the center of dahab ,close to the beach,nice staff.
I recommend this place for budget travelers,very simple place.

Awesome affordable hostel

Arrived to an untidy hostel and were provided an unmade bed with wet sheets. Dirty mattress and dirty bathrooms with no toilet paper included.

They ask you to sign a waiver agreeing to not dive with any other companies in Dahab. 

Bad customer service, very unhelpful staff.

Terrible hostel, avoid at all costs

Without realizing it, I made a reservation in a women's bed, I made the reservation by booking 5 days in advance. More than enough for me to be sent an email saying that I was wrong to change the reservation. They waited until he arrived to demand that I pay them. In addition to that, I was received in the worst form, directly demanding money for the stay without letting me rest for a moment. Finally I paid for the cancellation and I fled to another place, by Suere convincing two people who were asking at the door to leave this hostel so nefarious. Absolutely no recommendation. Worst hostel in dahab,does not worth staying there.

The worst personal of all.

I booked my stay through booking.com and when i arrived, they asked me first to sign a paper that i have to dive with their diving center "side business". when i refused, the staff told me we have no place to stay.

No trust, No Ethics

I booked my stay with Deep Blue Hostel as it looked great on pictures as well as very sociable. Unfortunately found it anything but.

While I know the price is cheap, and you DO get what you pay for in terms of quality and facilities, I had still hoped to at least meet some friendly staff. However:

They will not allow you to check in if you arrive late at night unless you pay for one of their drivers to pick you up. And even then they seem like you showing up is more of a nuisance.

Upon venturing out in the morning, I was told by the owner that since I had not booked my diving with them (I declined to dive with them when he asked and told that it was because I had already booked at another place), I was asked to leave the hostel.

This requirement was not stated prior to my booking - and with their attitudes (both the night before and the owner even) I would not have wanted to dive with them anyway.
There are nicer people and places in Dahab.

You get the basics - But note: no diving with them NO stay

Stayed in a private room for 3 nights. The price on booking.com does not include the 14% extra charge. Was surprised to have to pay 60 le more. Best to book on arrival.

The WiFi doesn't work 95% of the time. The private room is big but has no air con. The bathroom is clogged so gets flooded after a shower. The toilet flush doesn't work properly.

The young staff only wants your money and doesn't care about anything else. He even demands 20 le for staying in the lounge after checkout even though I paid for 3 nights and only stayed for 2! I was furious and left immediately.

The only good thing was I met some of the best people in the hostel whom I travelled with around Dahab.

Awful staff ruins the experience

If you fine nice hostel, not here.
The receptionist, young guy, was so rude and poor english. Maybe you can feel upset talking with him.
I request check in on day early, they said yes. So I took bus earlier than my schedule. How ever when I arrive there, they said if I do not diving here I couldn't check in. What the hell?
I was really tired at that time, so I don't want ague anymore. I change hostel. Please don't go there.
