First of all: the resort is very nice on the bay, lots of saunas and other leisure facilities. Restaurant nothing special, except fried stuff. There was nothing sensible to eat here. We had the Glass Villa 601, which is just overlooking the sea. However, it is more of a noble cabin than a villa. There is not much space here. Bed but very good. There was neither a cooking opportunity nor some kind of dining table. We had our barbecue and we could cook something outside. In the shower two of the four functions were off and the water temperature was regulated upwards. Likewise, the outdoor pool. This one is very nice and clean. Overall, it's a very fun meal, so the average price is much higher.

Santa Glass Villa - overrated

As an overnight destination for our trip, Kotka and the Santalahti resort were the ideal place for a break. The main advantages were the location right by the sea, especially the children who love swimming in the Baltic Sea, as well as the offer of golf and mini-golf, which convinced us.

An idyllic place to stay and also for activities

I didn't expect a much but the small hotel (or motel) was quite good. Small room but renovated recently. Everything was clean and new, nice view, own balcony. However the breakfast was less than average, but it costs only 11€. There are sauna world available but we didn't test it. Camping area, mini golf and beach also available

Surprisingly good

The place is super nice, right next to see, great staff and caravan places. BUT, our hairy little friends, dogs! Barking continues to late night and starts early in the morning. My three year old son asked me, whats wrong with the dogs. That should explain it all!

Hairy friends

Clean contemporary toilets and showers. Really big area with separate different types of areas. Spacy pitches. The sea and beach right next to the area as well as bug golf course and even a minigolf. Really pricy place. And not even common sauna included is a big minus. But there is free wood for bbq.

Expensive but nice

The campings are usually not so clean and comfortable like hotels. But you can’t describe Santalahti so. There are many different cottages in the seaside, but all of them have god toilets inside(!). And there is two great ways in forest for walking. All cottages have god saunas you can free use.

Very comfortable for a camping

A very nice resort near the border. We arrived early, we gave the keys. A house without amenities, inside only a mini kitchen, sofa, bed, table and TV. Next to the houses are the houseblocks (toilets, showers and laundry). Everywhere is clean, cleaned often. The territory is large. In short, it's a wonderful place. The nature is chic, the houses are cozy, the people are friendly, the service is high. We'll definitely be back. I love Finland❤️

Closer to nature

Excellent campsite, where everyone is at 5 and souls and toilets, kitchen, very clean, lots of comfortable tent accommodation, there are hiking trails in the forest with access to the Gulf of Finland, beautiful nature, excellent playgrounds

Visiting the Santalahti campsite

A cottage with a shared bathroom is a public toilet on the street! There's no water in the cottage at all, there's no kettle, the bedding needs to be filled yourself and it costs 6.5 euros, not that it's expensive, but it's a fact. The carpet is also for a separate fee. With small children it's not an option at all.
