We were delighted with this guest room, large and well equipped, very good breakfast, Mr. Gautier is charming, the garden is very rural, quiet and relaxed in an area to explore.

If you ever have the chance to visit this hidden little corner of France, 1 hour outside of Lyon, I recommend it.  Gorgeous fortresses, castles and pieces of history abound.  

Michael is a wonderful host and knows about the region being a local.  The rooms and guest areas are decorated with taste.  The bed, pillows and sheets are VERY comfortable (such a wonderful surprise).  Michael pays attention to detail, having a hair dryer available in the room (merci!) and a handcrafted soap to take home.

The breakfast is first rate with homemade jam and cake.  Great coffee too.

What a lovely hidden treasure

Everything was perfect. We stopped for one night, we regret not spending more time there. The room was more than spacious, quiet and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was a treat, copious and with good products. Thank you very much to our host.

That's perfect.

Beautiful, big rooms and good food, but a little too expensive compared to similar houses in the area (4 out of 5 stars). Unfortunately, I forgot the power supply of my smartphone on the nightstand in the room and despite two emails I didn't get any response. Service and communication are important to me, so unfortunately, I never take out a star.

Actually nice accommodation, but bad communication

Always as perfect

Gaultier is the owner of this amazing place. the hotel used to be a house of rich family in the past that had winery in the area of the house. Gaultier took the place and renovated it completely and by that created a great place to stay in the country side. The breakfast is amazing and the view is breathtaking. A great bonus to all that is the fact that Gaultier is producing the soap by himself with ingredients from dead-sea, which are making it a very high quality soap - you can also buy it from him for very reasonable price. Thank you Gaultier, for everything.

Amazing stay in the countryside

For the second time, we made a stopover here on our way to the south of France. Like last year, we were warmly received by the host Gautier Grangeon. You feel immediately relaxed, wishes are lovingly fulfilled. We stayed in the room Honoré. Wonderful! Larger than the last time with an open entrance to the bathroom. The room is tastefully furnished in detail. There is nothing missing and if... just ask! The stay was in all respects agreeable... The dinner and the wine were great. We are very happy to come back. 😊

When you arrive the building is beautiful... once inside you do not forget the size of the rooms, the quality of the bedding and the taste very cozy, warm and pleasant for the decoration. You feel at home with the wonderful welcome of the owners. A living room is available and very convenient for meetings in a completely different context. It is equipped with furniture such as quality sofas and chairs, others by the height under the ceiling and the old style give a very good atmosphere. The breakfast is wonderful and really pleasant. We recommend the lovely guests for a total disembarkation when you come from the city and to take a breath of fresh air on a weekend or when you stay in a family or for professional reasons.

Luxurious guest rooms

The rooms are exceptional, the breakfast is really delicious. The meals are cooked with high-quality products by the owners who are also perfect... in short, I lack the superlatives to describe the quality of this guest room to the level of what it offered us this family reunion weekend.

Class, taste and human warmth

I hadn't found a place so refined in all respects in a long time, thank you. The reception, the bed, the décor, the breakfast, the great calm.
