What a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was exactly what we wanted and beautifully kept. Location is perfect, 2 mins walk to the metro and only a handful of stops to all major locations. The area is fantastic, lovely cafes, bakeries and great to walk around. Didier is such lovely man, from our first communication everything was so easier. He made us feel at home immediately and was extremely helpful in helping us in planning our days and suggested some excellent cafes to try. Truly a wonderful man! When we return to Paris we will certainly stay here again. Thank you Didier.

Like visiting friends!

The room blew us away with the authenticity and beauty that opened up onto a small balcony. Paris at it's finest. A top-end bakery on the corner across from us. To good to pass up. The metro in a short walking distance, use google maps to tell you which line and stop to take. The best for last was the host!! The loveliest of people and really cared about your stay in Paris. Walked us to dinner at a restaurant he knew. It was so delicious. Every morning fresh croissant and pastry along with coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Much more for breakfast. On the morning of departure, we left very early and he set up a special breakfast for us. So above and beyond. A very lovely man!!

Wonderful place to stay and feel the beat of Paris!

We stayed here in late May and it was lovely! Once you find the place, the massive front door opens up to a building with so much history! The apartment is classic Parisian class and style and the balcony allows you to sit and watch the streets below. Ideally situated to grab the Metro to explore Paris and a short walk up to the wonderfully trendy MontMartre. Didier, the owner is delightful! He lays out a huge breakfast and is fascinating to talk to! Ask him to wear his Christian Leboutin shoes for breakfast! Dandy to the max! 😉

Simply Lovely

Wonderful spacious character filled room with two balconies. Lovely daily breakfast of fresh croissants, artisanal bread, jams, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee/tea. The host Didier, a lively conversationalist full of interesting info/recommendations about Paris. Didier's advice on where to go was invaluable and we saw places in Paris that were completely new to us. We wouldn't have found them without Didier's maps. Great location in less touristy part of town. Walking distance to metro and major train station Gard du Nord. Loved it and will be recommending to anyone who stays in Paris!

Picture perfect Parisian experience

If you're looking for a clean, safe place to stay, this is it. And Didier, the host, is a great place to stay. He's nice, courteous, kind, stylish and efficient. He serves an excellent, cool breakfast every morning and is always ready to spend a moment with us. We learned more about Paris and the people there. He's very useful with transportation and made sure we know how to get there. With a big bed and breakfast, the owner is the soul and he has a good soul. I'll recommend it to everyone and I'll come back when I visit Paris in the future.

Charming, clean and safe hotel

Staying in Paris with our friend Didier is always great, it's become our second home. A friendly, sympathetic and attentive person to every tourist's needs. A refined, clean and very quiet environment... in short, unique.

We stayed at 85 for a working weekend. Before we arrived, we were contacted by Didier our host about some arrival time details etc... and already there, we were pleasantly surprised by the service. When we arrived at the apartment, we were warmly welcomed. Our room was hyper large, hyper clean. The common toilets are absolutely not disturbed, there are only 2 guest rooms. Breakfast is divine, every day, fresh fruits, croissants, tea (Palace of the Tees) not from the Lipton d'aéroport coffee. A real delight. What we also enjoyed were the small lunches with the hotel room, the rooms were always very interesting, but we did not ask Didier if we could have spent two days at the hotel, but we did not have any other room.

It's perfect.

I stayed with my family for three nights in this extraordinary B&B. Didier, the conductor, is a fantastic person, as is his whole family. From this apartment in the perfect Parisian style, you leave as best you can to visit the city. The room in which we were guests is very large and comfortable, quiet and sleeps like a king. The shower is beautiful, the bathroom is in common with the other room, but it's not a problem at all. Breakfast is sublime, prepared by Didier himself, every day is a surprise: to strain fresh, fresh croissant, crispy baguettes and then marmalade, coffee, tea, sausage and cheese. Didier provides and delivers, besides the basic information that you can't know, the bathroom is not a problem at all.

Paris is worth a mass!

We have chosen the large, spacious, tastefully refurbished room with an original sdb! The building is beautiful, the entrance encouraging, as in the beautiful Parisian buildings! The very well garnished ptdj is served by the owner with love! All to satisfy the guests looking for a little Parisian spirit.

Better than at home!!!!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon in this charming B&B for 7 nights. Our choice was never so precise! We missed out on the description of the rooms, the excellent central location, which we discussed extensively in previous reviews, but what I want to emphasize is the hospitality of the owners: Didier and Valerie. Didier is a very exquisite person and he puts us in a passionate position in everything he does: from preparing breakfast (and what a breakfast) to suggesting places to visit, stroll or restaurants to eat. If you speak a minimum of English then enjoy the morning conversations with him: you will not regret it!
