We initially chose this hotel because of its location and were not disapointed. It is situated in 10 minutes from Notre-Dame, in a magnificent part of Paris when you feel that old and modern united to make you well very welcome. 
All the staff was very helpful and friendly, they speal English very well.
Our room was not big, but very comfortable and had a unique ambiance - like staying in a very small Paris apartment - exactly what we wanted. The only issue for us was the size of the bathroom - a bit too small, so I would advise only couples or close friends living in simpler rooms. 
Having said that, we greatly enjoyed our stay and are grateful to the hotel. I would definitely advise it to people who want to fall in love with Paris as did we.

Felt like home

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! The location was marvelous very easy walking distance to both Notre Dame and the Louvre. Very convenient to Metro and bus stations. Lots of restaurants, souvenirs, shopping all within very easy walking distance.
The staff was just unbelievably helpful and friendly. They do speak English. There were several times we asked for directions to attractions they were able to help us get to the right Metro stations.
The whole hotel has a very old European vibe, With modern conveniences. Wonderful showers, Wi-Fi, beautiful decor.

A very nice suprise

The hotel is very well located. Two blocks from Pont Neuf, in the heart of Saint Germain, it has metro stops a few blocks away, buses, it is about a kilometer from the Louvre, Notre Dame, there are plenty of places to eat, of all kinds, cheap, medium, expensive, of all kinds, at last it is very well located. The rooms, if they are small, but esteemed travelers is Europe, the space is small everywhere, not the United States, so I don't see the negative, I just understand that each country has its own characteristics and I adapt to them, the important thing is that the room was always clean and with the basic needs that are needed. We had details about the heating, some employees told us not to serve, others that if we did something we would like to do in the other room every morning, and the person who loves the coffee is always very good, but we would like to thank you very much, thank you very much, thank you very much, thank you very much, but we can always help you with a very good attention, thank you very much.

Excellent stay at the hotel.

My wife and I had a terrible experience at a VRBO site, so we needed to find a hotel fast... at around midnight. We'd seen Hotel Dauphine in our walks around the area, so we called them up and booked a room on the spot. It was the best decision we'd made the entire trip. The room was wonderful. Clean, well-lit, well maintained, great bed, great shower, great breakfast, great staff. Everything about it was wonderful.

Wonderful stay

Excellent location. all your receptionists are super friendly and attentive. of all shifts. with all amenities. the neighborhood and surroundings are excellent, we would definitely return to this hotel next time!

France with the cold and in a beautiful hotel.

I didn't think the hotel we normally stayed at in this area was good value for our Dec-17 trip so after much research on TA settled on the Dauphine St Germain.

Personally I can't fault the facilities or the price & the staff are all very, very helpful.  The rooms are "cosy" but that's what you expect of a typical Parisian hotel in this range of accommodation.  The bar is a really nice place to rest, re;ax & read after a long day yomping round Paris.

It's in an area with dozens of bars & restaurants covering all budgets & most tastes.  We love the St Germain location & it's difficult to beat IMHO.

All in all a great find due to TA & we'll definitely stay here again.

Very happy with this hotel in a great location

I love the ambience of this hotel. Yes, it is traditionally European, meaning that it is cozy and decorated a lovely French style. I was able to walk almost everywhere I wanted to go. And the public transportation stations were very close by. I had a good start to my day with their breakfast buffet.The staff spoke English, they were helpful, and very friendly. 

A friendly, comfortable hotel in walking distance almost all museums.

We stayed at the Hotel Dauphine for a short weekend break. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay and the Louvre, and 10 minutes from Odeon Metro station. The staff were excellent, the rooms spotless and everyone very friendly. Great restaurants all around the area.

One to go back to.

Great location for a weekend break

We stayed at this hotel for 9 days in January and are already planning for and looking forward to our next trip. The location cannot be beat, the staff is amazing and were quick to take care of any needs, we felt like part of the family. This was our first time visiting Paris, could we have stayed at a bigger, more modern hotel? Yes, sure...but we are so glad that we chose this one. When on vacation for that length of time and staying in a hotel, I start to miss the comfort of being at home and grow tired of living out of a suitcase. This trip was different though, this hotel stay felt more as if we were visiting friends and staying in a room in their home. They know your name when you come and go, they acknowledge you, and they care that your visit is a memorable one. 

We were there for our 5th wedding anniversary and on the evening of our anniversary had reservations for dinner at the Eiffel Tower, we were to arrive at the tour office 15 minutes prior to departure and were running late, as was the taxi that the hotel staff called for us due to it being Friday evening. We were a bit in a panic and Adrian saw this and contacted the tour office for us to explain what was happening and advised that we were on our way. We made the bus and had an amazing anniversary evening and I thank you for that again and again Adrian. See you next year!

We will always stay here

Great location, very efficient, welcoming and helpful staff, good room with excellent size bathroom (I was in room 44). Free and fast internet. The hotel is located in a very nice area, close to a lot of good restaurant and less than 10 mins walking from St. Michel.
